  1. Yeah I think we are past telling folk to shut up at games when they sing it. Probably needs raised with the club directly. As said above by @Ayr23there will be folk who haven't even thought about it joining in and a statement from the club might help.
  2. We're hardly breaking the mould with our signing policy, lower leagues of England to Scotland is a very well worn path.
  3. The club has deleted his signing from the website so I can't go on what they say but Ayrshire Post had him as a striker on signing (which IMO is basically the same thing anyway). https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ayrshire/ayr-united-striker-sam-ashford-26090098.amp
  4. Mind we signed Afolabi and he was greeted near instantly outside the ground by folk singing about 'black b*****ds' before getting onto the bus.
  5. We did sign Samuel Kenneth Ashford. Easy agree that Akinyemi is the better player than Adeloye, would require a really long hard think on the Shankland bit though.
  6. I along with others in our support are very carefully suggesting that our supporters engage in singing a racist song at every game we play. That mud has and should stick. These are not the actions of the 'least racist club in the land'.
  7. Dipo was shit, with all those long balls he was bound to score a couple.
  8. But weird he offered him a new deal if he thought he was lazy.
  9. They really don't want these games on a Saturday. Suits me, on holiday just after so I'll save my cash.
  10. Dick Campbell. That second place finish was a long time ago (in football terms anyway) now and IMO it doesn't look great this year.
  11. Steady, two plodder centre backs had an easy time with two physical forwards then had to start dealing with someone that's pacy late in the game and struggled to switch it up.
  12. McCalister is a right back, that's where he's played before Ayr. I'd say having seen him shunted about he's more of a centre back but not really any good anywhere. Passion Bangala
  13. Might be cashflow as well. We don't know how the Dipo deal is structured so we may not have that cash yet. Should still be money left over however.
  14. Most teams train on an artificial surface regardless of what their matchday pitch is so usually it's pure pish when a manager says this. Think Dundee United train on grass at St Andrews?
  15. Highly unlikely 8 points will be enough to get you through in second place.
  16. I hope they'll be doing a lot of work with Armatey on his first touch this season. Let him down a few times so far. Like the look of him, something there for sure.
