The only thing I'm taking from this thread is that Ayr fans are obsessed with Nazis / Germany. Weird.
Sorry not sorry, Franco.

Agree/disagree. Guess Stalingrad was like the second half

Boy with the Union Jack t-shirt sulking off there.
Looking forward to this moment of the TV watch more than any goal.

Airdrie being penned into their own penalty box is their own Battle of Berlin.
Think Stalingrad would be more appropriate.

Scott Brown very likely to watch Raith tomorrow if we are playing you next in a couple weeks and already played Hamilton. Maybe he would just send Whittaker in these circumstances

Could have sworn I’ve seen stuff online about one tomorrow. There is just an anti racist demo. It's not a counter to anything.

He drives a lot from deep positions and isn't easily shaken off the ball. As seen with the goal v Dundee United and assist last week. Can't remember the last player in midfield we had doing that.
Had a blonde moment with the greeny and red dots so don't worry
Yes those are examples of what I said though, he's driving down the left wing for anything good he is doing. If someone works out how to stop that I'm not sure what else it is he does.

Another midfielder or striker gives options, we don't want a Dipo situation where teams figure us out by Christmas and we have no plan B or a way of changing things, pitches are also going to get cut up and heavy soon and that might not play to Rus's strength if we want to challenge we need options
Rus is also a bit overrated in terms of where he is playing, I haven't seen him do much of anything at all in the centre of the park, he's always running off to the left wing. It's working just now though so cool.

His links to the Israeli far right are well known tbqh.
They are, but they are deliberately not being mentioned in articles at the moment.

The Glasgow “protest” have missed a trick having their event the same day as a **** game, thousands will miss out.
They are having theirs during an international break in September?

Find it fascinating that there are now numerous articles coming out linking SYL to Russia but at the same time radio silence on his links to Israel.

If we sign a CM then are we bumping our captain or our best player?
I don't think Dowds would drop out to allow a cm to play.

It's still f**king surreal for everyone else here that Rob MacLean is doing the same job here that would have previously been filled by Callum or a second year at Craigie, right?
Yes, also surreal that Scott Brown seems to being interviewed in a Hollywood nightmare.

Easy decision not to give that, can see why he gave it live though. Diving b*****d.

Do think Kilmarnock will equalise here, Tromsø are just really bad.

Tromsø have been absolutely woeful, look like they don't know where the ball is or how much weight to put on any pass. So that goal was unexpected.

I think that some on here sometimes expect the club to take responsibility for things that the clubs themselves wouldn't usually - for example organizing busses and organizing mural paintings. Imo these are things that should be and could be led by the fans.
The problem is that the ayr support isn't very well organized in my honest opinion. No one organises busses they can't be bothered. No progress gets made on the idea of mural paintings because the idea gets suggested on here and no one follows it up and tries to push for it.
There needs to greater collective organizing within the support to improve the overall match day experience and atmosphere. Something similar to Motherwell's well society or Celtics north curve initiative to galvanize the support into being more involved and improving the atmosphere. I remember the honest men trust used to exist but can't entirely remember what the objectives of that were or why that stopped.
I'd be interested in taking part and getting involved in the setting up of something along those lines, my only problem being that I don't feel connected enough with the others in the support as I usually go to the games with family or 1 or 2 mates, which coincidentally is a symptom of having no real organization within the support.
I know we currently have 'ultras' but this seems to be mostly wee guys who try to create atmosphere (fair play to them) and don't seem to try to achieve much else apart from that.
The club would need to play it's part in any mural. It's their wall and if they didn't like something on it they could simply paint over it. They would need to ok it's go ahead & more than likely provide a space to store materials in between days.
Not saying they should be the catalyst but they can't be left out.
