How exactly have I missed the point here? We always operated under asking people to apply for the job including every time there being a story in both local and national press, if John Hughes was interested he would have applied. Hughes was asked about this after Kerr was appointed and said he didn't think he should need to apply. He essentially tried to bypass the process by having someone just ask straight out of he would get the job and took the huff. I am fully aware of the situation.

John Hughes has never applied to be Ayr United manager.

I wouldn't trust a single one of those idiots to do a better job, except McCall but for obvious reasons it won't happen.

Nah not for me yet, he's got Tuesday night coming fast and due to the positive nature of football clubs they'll be looking to get a result to blow today away. Personally I'd be earmarking the Morton game for my own thoughts on his tenure. I think the likelihood is he will be away at some point soon but whether that is the end of the season or the middle of March I couldn't say. He could also surprise us all by turning it round and would be justified in staying then. Just want whoever is playing or managing to do well but it's becoming hard to get behind just now.

He was just a bad signing, was never going to fit the way the manager felt the team needed structured and we didn't have a complimentary forward to play with him (because Cameron was also a bad signing). This was all caused by waiting to see if Drinan would come back rather than finding the 'new Drinan'.

I'm capable of conversing on both topics of why Anderson had to go and why today is unacceptable.

Basically Anderson is a moody p***k, also he was in no way suited to playing the way we did, if anything he would/should have played out left for us or we change tactics to suit him. We did neither.

I can't see us getting anything on Tuesday, even a goal. Arbroath is different, maybe a score draw there but they have more fight than our team do so not sure I'd have confidence of that.
