  1. That makes a bit of sense now, wonder how they will work that when fans are back and they need to make their way up the terrace at half time
  2. It's just really disheartening, I don't expect any government to do everything right. I think telling the truth is the minimum you can ask for. I think they mostly do that and hold their hands up to mistakes of their own making and attempt to rectify. I think they need to address the issue one way or the other as more and more people are finding the restrictions pointless while they remain adament in a vague way that it's not an issue, perhaps they could offer up some figures to counter this or like you say, tell us it is an issue but one we need to live with.
  3. There's nothing stopping the club putting feelers out for hospitality and a stream of the game, some folk may enjoy that as they'll be around other Ayr fans watching the game. The last part, figures depending I think it would be a good idea to offer the PPV long term (once fans are back it would need to be full price), both home and away crowd numbers drop over the winter (midweek games too) and at the moment that potential income is just gone if they don't make their way to Somerset Park, seems daft when clubs in Scotland are so reliant on matchday income that we have locked this out until now.
  4. Might not, I was just picking at the suggestion ST holders get it free.
  5. Doesn't even make any sense whether it would happen on school holidays or otherwise. If we need locked up for a two week period it should start tomorrow. We obviously don't or it would be happening then. If this is to coincide with school holidays then they need to outline exactly why the nation is running to a school timetable if that reopening schools is not the issue at hand. Are any of our terrible journalists picking at this?
  6. Season ticket holders have paid for the stream (potentially at a higher rate than those not buying one).
  7. I signed up in early spring 2009 with a full head of hair, riding the crest of a wave after a 0-0 draw at home with Peterhead I logged into Pie and Bovril to tell someone to f**k off for the first time (on here). Later that year @dundeebarry did the Leigh Griffiths blog and I was hooked to the place needing my fix. But to the matter at hand it was the 24th of March 2009, it was a simpler time - some people wore shirts that had hoods on them, the Iraqi man who had thrown a shoe at George Bush had only a couple weeks earlier been sentanced (he got out by October), people were pretending they enjoyed Slumdog Millionaire, Obama was just starting out as president. We had been blessed with some of the finest number one songs of any year already: Lady Gaga Just Dance Lily Allen The Fear Kelly Clarkson My Life Would Suck Without You The best was yet to come, enter Flo Rida with Right Round. The song heavily interpolates the chorus of the Dead or Alive song "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" in its hook. Set in common time with a moderate tempo of 125 beats per minute. It is written in the key of A minor with a chord progression of Am–C–G–Am–D–G, and the breakdown of C–G–Am–C–D–E. A classic anthem we can all enjoy.
  8. I'd like to report the moderator who left the rest of the forum unlocked and allowed a junior thicko into the real part of Pie & Bovril.
  9. There's absolutely no point trying to find out the trialist's name btw as anyone that's heard of him is a liar. He's unattached so if we get him he'll no be on loan.
  10. They were both given squad numbers today Moore is injured and Bell was at his day job.
  11. There's a guy complaining to AU Media that the stream is down, our fans are something else.
  12. Forgetting that this is a friendly I quite like it tactically, presumption that we have a back 3 when we go forward rather than last year where both full backs gunned forward. Might just work.
  13. Happy with that, surprised those in League One and Two went for it, they often don't even name 5 subs and one is a goalkeeper.
  14. One of my pals got tested at a drive in place along with their partner at the weekend as she had symptoms when they woke in the morning. He says that he had none (so he shouldn't have booked a test but that's beside the point for now). She was negative and he was positive and their results didn't even arrive on the same day, seems a bit odd to a thicko like myself.
  15. We gonna hang fire until after Ayr win the league this year then lock us in?
