It's equally ludicrous to stop the teams in the league you would be playing against start to train while you continue to do so, there would be a huge unfair advantage there. It As far as I'm aware Ayr have everyone moved to part time contracts anticipating back to full time on Monday, it's a kick in the stones for us too. I think the hoops they are making football jump through to are too much tbh. Why do footballers need to be in a bubble, why do they need tested? Why do people who work in non essential shops not need to be in a bubble, why do they not need to be tested?

I get clubs want you in the stadium so you might nip into the shop, buy some food or a half time draw ticket. But there are games that people can't or simply won't travel to, or (very very rarely) a sold out away end and if the game hasn't been picked up by a broadcaster then tough. Seems to me the sensible thing ongoing is to allow clubs to broadcast their midweek games and also in the unlikely event that the away end is sold out (guess that only works at some, not all clubs due to still having PATG).

At championship level he was slow and poor in the tackle, he was usually pressed before he could get a pass away as well, you would expect him to be better two divisions down with team mates who are largely above the level they are playing at though so it might be the re-making of him.
