Have to add to the thoughts about the floodlights/digital boards, i actually though it was getting way too dark by the end of the game and found it a bit easier to see when the all white boards were showing up - we needed full floodlights, i guess with the clocks going back they will be on for the full game the next time we play at home.

I thought we played decently, couple of defensive errors really cost us, Hibs are a good team with good players.
Hopefully we bounce back with a result against Killie, we have had a fantastic start, we cant expect to win every game.
Its a shame the 4th went in but hopefully it wont have cost their heads to drop.

id be really disappointed to lose Baccus now, i dont really care whether we got 100k or 500k for any of our players, i just want to be able to enjoy watching them for as long as they are the club. If we got 500k the manager wouldnt see much of any off it so as a fan, keep our squad together as the harmony seems to be something at the moment.

i dont think they will come for robinson, im sure if lennon wants it it will be him.
I dont think Robbo would leave at the moment, he got a new contract which is very decent from what ive heard, hes built a great team and has an amazing connection with the fans and club.

It was a hugely enjoyable game to watch, personally cant see enough from the clips to see whether there was a double touch or not, both penalties were given for the exact same type of handball.
Before the game id probably have been happy enough with a point, its funny when youre losing 1-0 and it ends 1-1 you go home relatively happy, when you get in front and come home you are disappointed.
I think Aberdeen are better than they showed yesterday so you have to assume they were reasonably tired after their midweek game in europe.
Still a very good start to the season overall.

I thought we were fantastic first half, Dundee were fantastic in teh second when Tiffoney came on, he really made a difference.
I cant see Dundee being in any trouble this season.
Was nice to see Baccus looking back to his best especially in the first half.

The hearts commentators are probably the best I’ve heard from away teams this season we have played.
the worst by far Kilmarnock for reference.
similar to last week so far we started better but heads go down when we lost the goal just like last week.
was always a tough ask, Hearts are clearly the third best team in the league I’m actually pretty impressed with how well we have competed in the game and a half against them.

Also worth noting, a cracking home support, nearly 5500, the fans are coming back with the teams improved performance

Livvy are horrible to play against, such a big strong physical team and not much between the teams, probably the best team we have played this year and they had our number for most of the game without really creating any chances.
delighted with the win, Grieve and Flynn made the difference, Grieve is a brilliant player to have coming off the bench, he will get his chance next week with the injuries and suspensions we have, he’s still young and raw but has a fantastic eye for goal.
european football has to be the aim this season, I suspect we will lose Baccus and Strain at the end of the season

New St Mirren strips are nice, although its been a while since ive seen them, but initial reaction was good strip.

Liam Smith was good for us in a league where we were mostly on the front foot and he got to do a lot of attacking, but I'm not sure he's what we need now, especially with Coulson already in the team. There were a few times last season where Smith went to pieces a wee bit defensively, so though I'd have been happy enough to see him back, I can see why Stubbs maybe doesn't fancy him, and nor did any other managers in the Premiership by the looks of it. McGinn has been good as well.
Smith should do well for Ayr though. They look dark horses for the championship this season.
Coulson and Smith played on opposite sides.
McGinn is better than Smith though, we have defo upgraded, he's been one of our best players so far id say. He was solid against both Dundee and against Rangers and has a decent number of assists already.
We do need cover there though.

This has been very poorly advertised on facebook chaps, is it tomorrow?
Can someone summarize what, where and when it kicks off please.

Thank goodness he was rotten, now honestly who is gonna gie him a job?
Maybe someone who can play him in the proper position rather than his worst possible one.
Kirk was a brilliant player till he went to Rangers, same as Charlie Adam with Ross County and St Mirren.

They're coming for us. OH NOES!!!
I liked the guys response "the empire strikes back" - cos we all know what happened in Return of the Jedi after the empire's brief respite from the first death star.

The OFFICIAL version
"Ally McCoist ALLY McCOIST last night admitted Rangers still need a raft of new signings to compete despite seeing his reborn side hammer East Fife.
The fallen Ibrox giants booked their place in round two six of the League Cup in front of a bumper crowd of 38,160.
Kick-off had to be delayed 20 35 minutes to let the fans in and Rangers coasted to victory thanks to a Lee McCulloch double and goals either side of half-time by Dean Shiels and Lee Wallace for a final score of
6-0.
But on a day he added twenty three new players to his squad McCoist made it clear he needs increased numbers.
With the game safely in the bag the manager was able to hand second-half debuts to all four strikers Francisco Sandaza and Kevin Kyle.
But Rangers' third eighth signing on a day of frantic activity, Brazilian defender Emilson Cribari, had to be content with a seat in the stands as his international clearance failed to come through.
McCoist said: "I keep hearing people say we will not lose a game this season but we still need to bring players in, especially given we have a transfer embargo in place after September.
"We will certainly be looking to strengthen the squad as we have lost 45 players in six two months.
"I am delighted to bring in Dean Shiels and Ian Black and it is good to get six centre-forwards in Kyle and Sandaza who are proven in this country.
"We still need a helping hand and we definitely need with numbers in. I wouldn't put a figure on it ( and neither can anyone else at Ibrox) but we could certainly do with a few more as guys could move out.
"The eyes of the country will be on us this season and we don't want to let anyone mark the numbers down. I was really nervous before the match.
"Craig Beattie is a player we are looking at and we hope to push it forward."
An emotional McCoist also paid tribute to the fans who turned out in huge numbers (but no really that huge, honestly) to watch Rangers for the first time since they were reformed after going into liquidation.
He said: "I was pleased with everything from start to finish. It was a great night.
"The crowd was amazing. I couldn't believe it.
"Out of all this madness in the past 10 months the ( actual number of) fans have been a huge plus compared to the official figures . It has been phenomenal." (Final admittance they're in the Irn-Bru League?)
Wee Chick was coming in his pants last night "It's a sell-out crowd, 42-43-45 thousand in here already and thousands more outside" so no way was it just 38000, he might be a tit but he's an experienced tit and been in the game long enough to judge what proportion of a full house is missing. This also needs investigated. Are the The Rangers going to cheat Scottish Football financially just the same way the previous club at ibrox did? Is there something in the water down Govan way? Or is it DNA?
Its one way to get the money out, 10,000 paying £20 or whatever not on the books will soon have a nice suitcase full of money for Mr Green.

Leggo's blog today is hilarous - Aberdeen, Dundee United and and Hibs fans - did you know your all bigots, the rest of us are just idiots.
I also liked how he said Jardine and McCoist's statements were measured, the only thing measured about anything either of these clowns since the whole scenario started is the drinks that they are obviously both consuming a hell of a lot off.

I think Green forgets that Murray has tried share issues in the past and they have all failed miserably, this is in financially good times not the clusterfuck that we are in right now.
Any share issue would be doomed to failure.

In the bar last night with an Oldco fan, first chance for an indepth discussion;
Been punished enough - 10 Point deduction - Well no this means you finshed 2nd instead of 2nd.
Been punished enough - Were relegated twice - Well just what the f**k, not relegated at all, liquidated and not voted back to SPL and then elected to SFL.
Been punished enough - Banned from Europe - Well no just do not qualify for Europe as failed to tick the boxes in regard to filing acounts (my argument that I am banned from the Olympic 100m by the IOC rather than being unfit and not qualifying went done badly)
Green has a point it is bigotry against Rangers that means we are not in SPL - Well no, if you had paid your bills you would still be in SPL is the first fatal flaw in that argument.
Its all the b*****d Lawwell - No its all the failure of Murray /Whyte to run a business properly and the rest of the board letting them.
I gave him a denial rating of 8.5/10
May send an email to Fat Sally hoping he will support my desire to run in the 100m,
I want to do it, it is my right to want to do it, who are these faceless people denying me what I believe is my right to compete in any competition I want whether it is fit and proper that I am there. I have heard this is the tyoe of campaign he is willing to support.
I think you underscored him tbh.
