  1. Just been listening to Keith "petted lip "Jackson on Talksport. Unbelievable pish he spouts. Apparently it's all the fault of us internet forum loudmouths that his dear Rangers are being punished. We are a small vocal minority that has forced our clubs to "punish" the Rangers unjustifiably. It was all Craig Whyte's fault according to Keith.

    Ok Keith since you appear to be a member of the hard of thinking club, here are a few facts;

    * your club were cheating by using EBT's under Minty moonbeams not Craig Whyte;

    * your club ran up an astronomical amount of debt thus killing yourselves;

    * you club had absolutely no sympathy for Airdrie when they were in trouble;

    * your club wanted to leave the SPL and would have done so if the opportunity presented itself:

    * Rangers have had one punishment a ten point deduction which was tokenistic and had no impact whatsoever on income:

    * the vote is against a NEWCO you half wit, your Rangers are DEAD, this is not a punishment;

    * the one punishment Rangers received was foolishly appealed;

    and I think you will find that 90% of the fans of other SPL clubs don't want newco. Hardly a minority. I have colleagues that can help you with numeracy problems please attend one of our classes.

    I await with bated breath for the punishments for Rangers to actually really begin.

    Internet Forum loudmouth and proud of it.

    I had a laugh at his internet comment too, as if we are all morons who dont understand the situation - f**k you Jackson, if clowns like you did your job in the first place with the whole "money off the radar" stuff about Whyte then a large chunk of this would not have came to pass, so I suppose its easier for him to keep playing the everyone else was wrong when he especially did as much to damage Rangers by doing no homework before publishing articles.

    Traynor, Young, Forsyth and Jackson - 4 guys who should not be picking up any sort of wage commenting on football in the future after this.

  2. What surprised me most about the Rangers fans during all of this was their complete inability to grasp the severity of the situation and get together, get organised, project a united front. I'm no expert on the factions within the Rangers support, but pre-Feb 14, I was aware of the names 'Blue Order', 'Union Bears', and there was always some guy on the telly, an older guy, who was some sort of spokesman for the official Rangers supporters clubs. Following administration on Feb 14, I don't think I saw this older guy on the telly at all. There was that fat baldy chunt - who all Rangers fans seemed to hate too, and the younger guy with a neat line in leather jackets and regular appearances on the Scotland Tonight sofa. He was on the telly again last night, saying that by canvassing their own supporters views, clubs like Dundee United and Aberdeen simply kicked Rangers when they were down. To think that this arrogant wee chunt is choking into his cornflakes this morning pleases me greatly.

    Then of course we had the RFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF and their wonderful roll-up bannerstand. More typo' errors and mistakes in one 850mm x 2236mm graphic than I managed in a lifetime. Sandy Jardine seemed to spend a fair bit of time with the typo' error boys. Cannot believe they managed to typeset S-a-n-d-y J-a-r-d-i-n-e, and not the correct useage; U-t-t-e-r C-u-n-t. Talk about a typo' error.

    So, these Blue Order, Union Bears, supporters clubs, fat baldy guys, older guy, and younger but seriously deluded guy..... plus the myriad of worldwide and local Rangers supporters clubs, bus convenors, blah, blah de blah.... where were they? Why weren't they organised into one group, speaking with one voice - and putting their triumphalist superiority complex WATP bullshit on hold? Us diddies recognised right away that their club was in a fight for its very survival - Rangers fans appeared to think they were in a fight to retain Champions League group stage qualification, and their 'rightful' position of shitting on the Sellik.

    Ach, not my concern. Fcuk um'.

    Its amazing really isnt it? You would hope that if our club went tits up, even with a hardcore of 3000 home fans, we could muster up at least as much as the Rangers fighting fund did, which amassed an amazing £6.50 per fan that was in Manchester. The club needed the money in the cup and a paltry 16k turned out against Dundee United.

    While they directed their anger and hatred towards everyone else and blamed everyone else for their troubles, they completely missed the opportunity to pull together and take responsibility for the situation, too many people sitting on their thumbs complaining. That fighting fund should have been at 5m within 30 days of going into administration, where were the fundraising things? They got 8000 to a march, charge everyone £20 who wants to go to that, theres 160k right there, sell T-shirts at a tenner a pop for the march, another 50k profit, there are so many things they could have done but instead - zip - nada, a token gesture and an empty march.

  3. Where are we seeing this about Inverness? Their site says they will consult with fans.

    Kilmarnock are really in the position to shaft themselves totally, once we have the confirmed number of no votes, anyone voting yes or seen to have been voting yes will be boycotted by Celtic fans - so they could end up with no Rangers away support and no Celtic away support either which I imagine would severely screw them.

  4. Just read Steven Thomson's comments in tonight's Evening Telegraph with a growing sense of unease.

    He speaks about room for compromise and is quoted as saying. "We're not saying we want them in the Third Division.". "We have to find a conclusion that sorts this properly and doesn't damage Scottish football"

    I spent over £1,200 today on three adult season tickets. If he does anything to enable newco to get into the First Division Dundee United will never get a penny from me for the rest of my life.

    I see what you are saying but the main task is firstly getting the out of the SPL, I think we all agree change needs to happen, there is no reason why Rangers should get catapulted into the top of a new lower league setup though, and you would think that the guys like Longmuir who want to see the lower divisions getting a money injection would really have no benefit to see them in a revamped first, but starting at the bottom and sharing some cash around the leagues with the new exposure it would bring.

  5. Rangers are in the shitter. They deserve to be hammered within the laws of the game, written down when the SPL was formed. To start making up punishments to cover up what a shit organisation the SPL is, only shows what the rest of the clubs are after.

    Yes, I agree that there should be a fair share of the cash available in regards to TV money. If your on the telly, you get paid. If your not then why the f**k should you expect anything?

    How are other clubs throwing a sirloin? It's a double edged sword. Other clubs benefited from transfer money when they were in dire need, so who had the sirloin?

    Rangers did nothing but drive down the price of players in Scotland for years, unsettle them, try to attain them at the lowest price, it wasnt sirloin Rangers were dishing out, it was beef ham, and it had gone off.

  6. I am seriously disappointed. I was hoping that by this stage Rangers fans would be blaming their demise on all the posters on Pie & Bovril.

    We have tried our best to cut through all the bull. Tell people (from the start of the thread) that liquidation would happen, David Murray was worse than Whyte, Whyte was just dodgy - 100%, Miller, Green, Ng, TBK were all just oppotunists.

    Yes some have been more consistent than the P&B melting, but by God we have been incessant and unwavering.

    And given the current battle over the crumbs it is important we don't walk awy.

    And we won't.

    A stirring speech sir, my belly fills with pride.

  7. Airdrie United *is* the continuation of the old Clydebank - a renaming of an existing company. There's nothing unclear about that and Airdrie United's history (as far as the SFA goes) reflects the fact

    NewCo *Isn't* the continuation of the old Rangers. Old Rangers are being lowered into the coffin and soon will not exist. The history is an intangible asset and the jury is out on whether it will be transferred under these entirely different conditions

    Celtic should make a bid for the history, would be hugely funny.
