  1. Wow, how much of a p***k can one man be? Of course everyone wants to see the girl back safe and sound, what kind of monster wouldnt? This is an internet forum, people are allowed to voice their own opinion, which is what Steven is doing. In laymans terms, he is saying the parents neglected their children, this is correct, what are people so upset when that is said? Is it because she is still missing? "its not the time to blame". Its an internet forum, we dont know the people personally involved, is it harsh to say they should be brought to task for an act of gross neglect? No of course it isnt, it wont happen because the family are extremely wealthy and not some little britain style family. You say "More nonsensical, ill-informed, judgemental gibberish from the forums moral authority." I find this extremely comical, as a young man who has barely sprouted any pubes, this is exactly how most people would describe you. Your comment regarding education was by far the most condescending post I have ever seen on these forums, shame on you.
  2. Christ, thats terrible, bad aids is the worst kind too.
  3. Cheeky fucker, you look older than I do, I have all my hair and everything!
  4. I dont think he is being harsh on them, they are paying a huge mistake, but they chose to neglect their children, no one else did, it was bad luck that they had someone around willing to abduct one of them, but ultimately the parents are as much to blame as the guy that took them.
  5. There is a huge difference between not watching your children 24/7 to actively neglecting them, thats where the difference lies in this case. However when your kids are 2 and 3, you are watching them 24 hours a day.
  6. The parents are both around 38-39 - with the kids being 4 and the twins are 2. These are people that will have led their whole lives being able to go out and do what they want when they want to with plenty of disposable income (both doctors). I had my children when i was 22 and 24 - my wife and I never really got much of a chance to get into a habit of going out and enjoying ourselves before my wife got pregnant, going on holiday in the early years with two young kids was a nightmare, we spent 2 weeks in Portugal that were the worst couple of weeks of our lives, it was no holiday to have. Not once did we ever consider, we will leave them for an hour, it is not something that enters your head. If you had a good number of years getting used to doing what you wanted though, is it something people could be tempted into doing, I see little point taking 3 under 5's on holiday myself, but these people obviously thought they can leave them while they go for a drink, it obviously wasnt the first time that its happened, no doubt someone was looking and seeing what they were doing. Whatever happens, the parents are guilty of child neglect and should face charges, as harsh as it sounds, I suspect because of their stature, they will not. If someone from Easterhouse did the same they would be hung out to dry by the media. I feel desperately sorry for the parents, but they have to accept a large proportion of the blame for their actions.
  7. The police now say that she was abducted but are confident she is alive and have a suspect in mind.
  8. There is kids in my street out about 3, but we live in a closed culdesac, If i lived on a main road id not let my kids out probably till they were about 10, every situation is different, it is extremely hard when kids first go out, but you have to let them do it.
  9. It really wouldnt surprise me to find out later that something had happened to the girl earlier in the day, and the child going missing from the room is a cover story for something more sinister.
  10. It was just on sky news that the window had not been jammied open , the door was open when they returned to the room, but had said it was locked when she was last seen.
  11. The thing was the door was locked, the windows were locked and hadnt been forced, its one of those strange ones that you know is going to have a bizarre ending to it.
  12. Theres something funny about this missing girl. Who in their right minds leave a 3 year old and two 2 year old kids on their own while they go out for a spot of dinner, sporadically checking on them? The parents should be prosecuted for neglect. I dont think all is as it seems with this, but time will tell.
  13. Every day feels like a birthday to me, the next birthday will be my real one, 35 years young.
  14. Disaster strikes - my wife booked our holiday and it clashes with T in the Park, so i now wont be going - Colin has first refusal on the weekend tickets, other than that if anyone wants them (regular weekend tickets) they can PM me.
  15. Thats the 4th time this year you have wished me happy birthday Dex
  16. Just watched it myself and agree with your spoiler - thought exactly the same.
  17. He does dosent he! I look younger than him and im a good bit older!
  18. Colin deserves his special birthday wishes page - he's 30 and the man with the best taste in music on P&B (apart from myself of course). Happy birthday, welcome to your 30's, it sucks!
  19. I watched the Philpy movie again today, its stunning in every single way. The Philpy movie
  20. The Phily movie i made - 10/10 - the director has a keen eye for the subject matter, and an ocscar is no doubt round the corner somewhere in the future.
  21. Ive read it twice, its one of my favorite books. The fantastic thing is that it also does work, if you go on utube and type in mystery method you can see mystery doing some seminars.
