  1. I hope we’ve at the very least got a pre-season friendly out of it.
  2. Think the pitch would be fine. Not sure if the conditions around Broadwood are more likely to cause a postponement on safety grounds. Edit: Pitch inspection at 10am. I know f**k all about anything.
  3. Judging by the amount of wee fannies outside Central Station about half an hour ago, yes.
  4. This weekend’s games do have a “last for a while” feel to it. Beyond fed up of this shite.
  5. Bayern giving Stuttgart a right pasting. 3 goals in 5 minutes. 5-0 with 15 minutes left.
  6. If David Goodwillie could hit a penalty we would be level on points with ‘ambitious’ Queen’s Park. Really pleased with the 2nd half in particular - deserved the goal and defended the lead well. Set pieces still give me the fear though. First time I’ve seen us win a league game since we beat Montrose in March 2020. Fitting it was another screamer that won us the game.
  7. Tested positive on a LF after a few folk I was with on Saturday came back positive. Feel fine other than an annoying as f**k cough, fair few plans in tatters though!
  8. Going to Man City v PSG on Wednesday night but I’m at a loose end on the Tuesday. Would appreciate P&B’s help. My options are: Bolton v Doncaster Salford City v Bristol Rovers Stockport County v Kings Lynn Sit in the pub watching the Champions League. Bolton and Stockport look pretty easy to get to from Manchester City centre, Salford less so but still doable. Thoughts?
  9. Do QP let you pay at the gate or do you need to buy a ticket online?
  10. Had no issues getting to or from work in the City Centre today. Saw the XR folk in blue and red suits marching up Waterloo St at about half 4 but nothing else of note.
  11. It was, according to Rory Loy, “literally”, a game of two halves.
  12. You’d be hard pushed to find a Clyde fan who wants Elgin to win tonight; and I can assure you it’s not because we think we’d have a better chance of progression if we came up against Clydebank.
  13. Clydebank would be tremendous. Although the way this season is going, Elgin will beat them comfortably to set up the dullest tie imaginable with virtually no chance of progression.
  14. It closed for ages then reopened under new management but wasn’t open for long before the pandemic. Doubt very much it’s survived. Disagree with the poster saying the Amalfi Coast in its entirety, had a great holiday there a few years back. Pompeii was absolutely shite, though, IMO.
  15. Anyone know why there are no games picked for Sky Sports on the weekend of the 16th of October? All games that weekend are showing as being at 3pm on the Saturday.
  16. The insistence on including Goodwillie’s ‘goal’ in a 3-0 defeat is even more ridiculous after his first today. Would’ve been an unbelievable way to mark a centenary.
  17. 2 points dropped against a very disappointing Gretna side. Do you think any of the coaching staff have tried explaining to Rumsby why fouling players in the box every week is generally not a good idea? Might be a bit of Fr Ted small/far away psychology required there. Shoutout to the chap in the away end up the back with veins popping out his head in sheer rage throughout much of the 90 minutes. His performance served the occasional reminder that there were actually some people in the away end.
