Go to sainsburys and you'll get 4 cans for £6.
Incredibly, it was in a boozer in Glasgow for one pint.. Maggie May’s has always been a rip off but used to have a decent selection if I remember right. Now it’s just a standard fare and still a rip off!

A bit off the topic folks but on Saturday we visit New Douglas park.Where about are away fans going in the ground? Never been their before only seen it on the TV and away fans are normally behind the goal if I remember correct.
Similar set up to Broadwood - you’ll be given a section in the Main Stand.

Why ?
The results of late are clearly a cause for concern but suggesting the manager should lose his job is ridiculous. I think he has enough credit in the bank to ride this out.

Got to be major questions around Danny now…I hate to say that. Done great stuff at times …there is the issue of a new 2 yr contract he signed though.
Gies peace.

Spaten is my staple on the perfect draft so this is very welcome news. Shall pop to my nearest Aldi for a basketful tomorrow, assuming it's not already been wiped out, cheers for the heads up.
Noting your username and assuming you live in Motherwell then that is also my nearest Aldi so keep us some! I got the last 2 in the Glasgow High St branch. Londis on Glassford St and the Day Today in Blantyre also do the Spaten kegs - the latter also having a decent selection of bottles.

Aldi are selling 500ml bottles of Spaten for £1.79. Tremendous value. No idea if it’s a permanent fixture or just for Oktoberfest because apparently they are selling the Paulaner Oktoberfest beer as well but I couldn’t see that when I went in.

Original plan was pub>Clyde v Dunfermline>pub>out for dinner>pub.
Will still have an adequate day I’m sure, but I’m seething nonetheless.

There's a Saturday in December with no games (and no cup rounds scheduled), hopefully the lower league card will just get shifted until then.
If you’re referring to the 10th, that’s the 4th round of the Challenge Cup. Knowing our luck we’ll be out and Dunfermline will still be in it.

Ridiculous decision.
Not that it would’ve made a spot of difference but I hope the club pushed back on this. I’d imagine we’ll be taking a big hit financially because of this. Dunfermline would’ve brought one of the bigger away supports this season which will no doubt be halfed for a midweek game. Seething.

Sadly I can’t see the SPFL growing a set and allowing the games to go ahead.
If any forelock tugging weirdos want to stay at home crying in front of the TV, then let them. Let the rest of us get on with it.
Might seem trivial but I’m assuming stewards, hospitality/kiosk staff etc will end up losing out if it’s canned? Seems very fair in the current climate.

I do remember the away game to Clyde in the Scottish cup when it got abandoned because of the snow at half time with us 2-0 up.
Think it was the year we got to the final in 2004.
It was 2-1 at the time but aye it was 2004.
Not a kick in the arse off 4,000 at that game. Would be nice on Saturday.

Giving this a miss as £18 to watch from a different post code is scandalous. Sadly I see falkirk and Dunfermline have already taken decent numbers through but I think away fans should boycott to send a message. Wishing Danny and the boys all the best from afar this weekend.
Thought you weren’t going?

Bellshill Athletic 1-0 Royal Albert
Haven’t been to a game this far down the pyramid for a while but thoroughly enjoyed it. The standard obviously isn’t great, but the value for money (came home with change from a tenner) is fantastic. 1st half was a complete non event but the 2nd half had a bit of everything - a goal that turned out to be the winner, a missed penalty, a Bellshill red card, a disallowed Royal Albert goal and loads of right feisty tackles.

Smelty Farts, imo.

Any chance of us appealing the Allan red card
I don’t think you can appeal 2 yellows.

So bloody frustrating.
Could’ve been our easiest 3 points of the season. Feel sorry for Cunningham - could see he was absolutely furious with himself when he got subbed off. Ironically scored the hardest one of the lot.
Work to do, but there’s definitely a team in there somewhere. There won’t be many boring games this season, I don’t think.

Took this in last night. I get the feeling QP will be similar to last season - ultimately they’ll do fine but given their resources they should probably be doing a bit better. The drop off in the second half from them last night was staggering but fair play to Ayr, they were absolutely brilliant.
I can understand QP fans being pissed off at having to traipse through there every fortnight, but Ochilview really is a brilliant venue. Decent crowd in last night which made for a good atmosphere and the reaction to the 3rd goal from the Ayr fans was superb - the guys that left at 2-0 jumping over the fence to get back in when the penalty was awarded and the boy running over to the QP fans cupping his ears was hilarious, especially after Murray’s celebration in the first half. All taken in good spirits by the Queenies as well by the looks of it.

Aye, probably.

Poor game between two poor teams imo.
Liam Kelly is a cheat code for Motherwell - some of his saves today were outstanding. Irrespective of that though, some of St Mirren’s finishing was diabolical. I don’t know if you could even say they were unlucky over the piece because a better team would’ve been out of sight by half time.

Will be a bit awkward with Keith Lasley in the Motherwell dugout on Sunday.

Who is this complete clown on Sportsound with Pat Nevin and Jane Lewis?
“Motherwell had a great season last season, victim of their own success, Alexander is a great manager, will have another great season this year”
Wit?

If it’s any consolation to Well fans, doesn’t look like it’s Prague that Sligo are going to.

For the first time ever I’m hoping for a boring draw away to a fellow L1 or Championship side who will put us out our misery without much fanfare. Can’t be arsed with the embarrassment of losing to another WOSFL team again.
