I took my Sim out once on my Maya Max and it was difficult to close again.

No Haber tonight seems oddly topical

Can understand the criticisms of Haber but there's no doubt in my mind that Dundee would have been relegated last season without him.

I liked Loy but he's not the man to lead the line, which is what Dundee need. Presumably, someone is now lined up.

Mitchell was really a perfect back up. Would never want him as a regular starter, but capable enough. No idea on whether Ferrie or Gourlay are any good. Just sign Rab Douglas as player/coach

Scott Burns reporting it's Ross County who are in for Coulthirst.
I hope so. Doesn't look particularly inspiring.0 -
Letheren would be good back up, if Bain stays.

Gomis, Ross and Higgins gone. Always felt Nick Ross was unlucky. I feel he could have contributed more, if given more of a run in the team.

Based on nothing other than internet speculation I think Aldred's basically a done deal and Lafferty is a load of shite.
Hope that's correct. Aldred sounds like a good piece of business though, admittedly, I've never seen him play.0 -
No coincidence that this photo used in my opinion.0 -
I reckon Adam might come in a few years and end his career at Dundee. However, he's only 31 and is not dropping down to the Scottish Premiership now.

Got my doubts that Deacon will be as good as our last winger from the English non-league.0 -
Always remember some good T-Shirts being sold outside Dens in the Bonetti days. Would pay decent money for the "Dun Coke, Dun Time, Dundee" one now.

Fair play to County but is it likely that season ticket sales will increase 33% to offset the 33% decrease per season ticket?
It's a tough one for the board and hope it pays off for them.

It's a tough one with Bain. If he was sold last summer, Dundee could have got something closer to the £500k (although not as much) which they got for Stewart. He had just been named in the Scotland squad.
His form has clearly declined, as has his value. His stock has declined massively. It may be better for Dundee to hold on to him next season, hoping that he gets back to the form he's capable of (whether due to trying to find a new club or because he'd fallen out with Hartley), rather than let him go for a pittance.

Me on the left picking up my Maya Max
Had my Maya Max for a month and really happy so far. Bluboo do a smaller phone called the X9 that seems to have good reviews.0 -
On a lighter note - my custom Lineage OS connects to LTE on the 800Mhz band and I havent had any issues with voice calling
And, I just realised that the thing stuck in the headphone socket that I thought was just part of the waterproofing also pops out the sim tray [emoji185]
Interesting. I did wonder what that was for.0 -
On a similar note, I had a system app on my Maya Max called "SC Weather" which the antivirus didn't like. Probably worth folk disabling it to be on the safe side.

Just thought I would give initial comments from a day of use of the Maya Max. Might be handy for others reading the thread looking to make a decision.
Generally really impressed. The phone is fast and responsive. It feels really solid. It certainly doesn't feel like a £123 phone.
Main problem is with public Wi-Fi. On Scotrail Wi-Fi, which I use every morning, I could only get it working if I switched off my "Cellular Data". Not a massive deal, but a minor annoyance. There does not seem to be any issues with Wi-Fi at home.
I also found the Bluetooth connection to my wireless headphones a bit temperamental. This improved when I removed the plastic protective case but is another annoyance.
Generally very positive though and am happy with my purchase

Sorry Mr X. Mine came from an EU warehouse if that makes any difference.
On the double tap, it was just something I saw in one of the videos I saw in YouTube and is something I'm used to with my last phone.
Fingerprint sensor works great for opening up but would have liked for putting phone to sleep
It is a great piece of kit though. Really appreciate the comments on here.0 -

Let us know how you get on ....
Okay, well my Maya Max was ordered on Sunday and arrived this morning. Gearbest was fine. I think I kept more of an eye on the tracking than I would with say Amazon, just because I hadn't used them before and did have misgivings about the site.
First impressions of the phone are good. Feels solid. The only issue I am having is that the double-tap to wake and close the phone doesn't work. Not a dealbreaker and perhaps missing something on that.

Thanks both. Really appreciated. Have had an LG G5 that's been on its last legs since October (my own carelessness), but packed it in last night. Was waiting for it to do so before ordering something.
Anyhow, have ordered the Maya Max and looking forward to getting it. Stuck in my contract for a bit, but assuming all goes well, it will be SIM only going forward.0 -
Thank you very much both. Think I'm likely to take the plunge.

Was really impressed with McCann in BT. I'm not surely Hartley would have reacted so well in the same position.
