Haber and Nade spring to mind as two who were written off.

Estonian, ex-Motherwell player signs for struggling team from Dundee. Sounds familiar

Shinnie was too lightweight at the time but you could see he was a player. Went back to Rangers then onto Inverness where they got the best out of him. Got his move down south but don't know if it was successful or not, guessing it wasn't that great if he's back up at Hibs.
Personally thought Shinnie was excellent and the "lightweight" comments annoyed me at the time. Not finished article at Dens obviously but he improved that team in my view.0 -
Assume the owners will lease the stadium back to the Club. I guess the feeling is that it will be more cost-effective for DFC in the long run and will also make the Keyes Capital a wee earner from the rental.

The club getting a lot of criticism because they said there was no release clause. I think it would be stranger if they were advertising it to be honest.
At end of the day, nothing the club could do. For all we know, the release clause could have swung Hemmings moving to Dundee. I'd rather have got him for a season and lost him for £250k than not get him at all. Without the benefit of hindsight, I don't think many people a year ago expected Hemmings to do as well as he did and be worth more than £250k.

Clearly was a release clause. At least it didn't happen on deadline day.

Race - 6.5/10
Decent biopic but nothing memorable about it. The interaction between the U.S. Olympic committee and the Nazis was interesting though.0 -
Got a good friend who's a Blade. Doesn't rate him at all.

McKenzie was always underrated in my view. Relatively young at the time and improved enough to get in Scotland squads whilst down south.

I was at The West Brewery tour last night. Tour is short, but quite entertaining. The beers are a bit bland I think, Wild West and the stout were the best by quite a way.
West for most part very bland. Really like their Munich Red though.

Interesting signing. Has the look of a cult hero written all over him. He hasn't played at a level higher than amateur football though. Has to be a concern.

McGinn has been decent this season so will be a loss.
Ziggy Gordon a more than adequate replace though, if it comes off.

Honestly, season's done as far as I'm concerned. Give the youngsters a chance.

I once cursed Hartley as a diddy when we were trailing to some dross and he threw on Greg Stewart to make the difference.
He didn't, we lost and I thought I was right.
Minter for me.
He was an underwhelming signing at the time. Was disappointed as thought Hemmings the far better player. Nowadays, less clear cut.

Worth noting that for every player that tears that league up there's another Steven Doris waiting to be signed. El Bak may well be the flavour of the season, but whether he could be a potential replacement for one of our stars remains to be seen.
Certainly want us to keep ploughing the lower divisions but I feel the hype he's getting might not justify the ability when/if he makes the step up.
Just so difficult to tell. Never would have thought Greg Stewart would do so well when he signed.

Need a new signing, nae c**t linked or rumoured also. Depressing.
Really hope something in the pipeline and Hartley keeping quiet. A Thompson replacement would be ideal.
Wonder if Aberdeen would consider moving on Flood if they bring in Tansey?

BBC stating that O'Dea expected to join subject to a medical.
Would be a good signing in my view. It's slim pickings in this transfer window and you're not going to get many match-fit, experienced players.
On the face of it, an improvement on what Dundee have already. I haven't personally seen him play in a few years though.

O'Dea could be dece.
Yeah, should do a job. Would definitely prefer him to Zaliukus

Sadly, I think McPake is probably done. If so, I hope he gets moved into some sort of official coaching role.

Maybe over thinking it, but was Thompson on the bench a deliberate master stroke? Was it intentional that he come on near the end, with a view to bossing the midfield and either seeing it out or turning things rounds, what with United being likely to tire near the end and so KT being most effective. Once Thompson was on, the win never seemed in doubt.

The boo boys were after Hemmings earlier in season. The boo boys were wrong.

Watched a few films over the holidays.
Hateful Eight - 8/10 - Not Tarantino's best work but still enjoyable. Started slow but picked up halfway through.
The Lobster - 8/10 - Very strange film but very enjoyable.
Joy - 7/10 - Jennifer Lawrence carried the film.

If Dundee beat Hamilton and win the derby at New Year, Hartley will be lauded by the support again. The feeling towards Hartley amongst the support is so inconsistent.

Reckon we'll be good to get half a million, which is depressing as f**k considering what Celtic paid for the cannibal kid.
I think he'll go for £700k to £1m, unless an English team shows an interest.

Thinking of going for this. Will it work fine with EE? Particularly 4G. I can't make sense of the website on Gearbest re frequencies.
