  1. Its an experience to play in the spl, but its no goof believing we will go down straight away. It would be better being there with confidence. But the gates. Lets see, hearts, hibs, dundee united, aberdeen, motherwell, and the old firm and maybe St.J too.. Yes it would be good to see a couple of thousand in the away stand every week. Some atmosphere created. You never know Dazzle, next season may be the season you could enjoy it all.
  2. Of course things, at times, have gone in our favour as things have gone against us. It is as you say, credit to all that this year we have so far been good enough to take advantage. Long may it gontinue.
  3. We are creating our own luck which is quite a different matter. Played 11, won 8, drawn 2 and lost 1. Plus 11 GD. Thats consistency and not luck. If this puts a jinx on results then you can put me in front of the firing squad.
  4. No-one is saying, but he has 6 stitches in a cut over his eye (as stated by J.McG in his after match interview). Doubtfull at best for saturday i think.
  5. On the other hand he may wish to add some chocolate chips to his cookies and chew over the issue a bit.
  6. No problem logging in. Are you on the temporary site, if not you should be.. http://raithfantalk.s2.bizhat.com/index.ph...um=raithfantalk
  7. So ayrmad are you saying livingston fans do not deserve to lose their club. This present situation has not been going on for just a few weeks but for the greater part of last season. They saw this coming, but what did they do to help. Answer "Diddly Squat" and instead chose to sit and wait for a white knight to come along yet again to save them. Sorry, but charity starts at home and livi fans have shown very little charity towards their own home club.
  8. Quote Again, I'd like to say I can understand this from others perspective, but effectively Livi have met the stipulations all clubs agree to when they agree to join the league. Unquote What a load of old garbage. Livi have not met the stipulations they agreed when joining the league. God almighty, are you thick, dense or just plain stupid. You have broken so many of those stipulations its almost uncountable. Yet the SFL have decided to vote in your favour. If this happened in a murder case there would be so much outcry the judges would be banished after being hung drawn and quartered. This is not finished yet, and you certainly havent, as yet survived, so please dont gloat till your fat lady sings.
  9. Well, i admire those two for having the guts to come out publically and denounce the SFL and the whole situation. I wonder now just how many other clubs and managers will show the same courage and speak out. I wonder if any of the news reporters etc have been on to Uefa and Fifa for there comments on this. Get them involved and scottish football is in for a severe kick up the backside. Back home, lets see how many other clubs and managers have the guts to follow suit and what the SFL reaction will be because there is no hiding from this now. Livi, i suspect the swell of public opinion is going ring your death knoll.
  10. Yes MCL and those figures look good, on paper, but they are not profits, are they. At this stage you have no sponsors. I doubt you have much hospitality sold, if any. Theres a huge assumption there will be no apathy amongst your fan base. And of course your assuming visiting fans will attend in fair numbers too. They have warned you on that score. What you have been told is that the club will save 1/2p for every £ it makes. It hasnt told you it is going to have to drastically slash its budget and operating costs and hope the gates remain constant at around 2000. Oh and forget your figures on the almondvale suite. Theres a very deep recession and theres going to be a lot of bad feeling from local business so that source of income will generate far less than expected. Welcome to the real world.
  11. Well I am sorry E.Livi, but thats the biggest none statement i have ever heard. You will spend all but one half pence in the pound you earn. What kind of business plan is that??? What happens if you only get say an average of 1600 fans per game. By the time you have paid back some of the CVA, wages, rent, rates and so on your going to have a shortfall unless you drastically cut back some where. Are your existing players going to take a smaller wage as thats where your biggest outlay will be. Are you going to have a smaller squad. What level of security will there now be. On average that costs about £12.50 per man hour unless you have your own certificated event personel which would cost you about £7 per man hour. Policing is darned expensive too. I think you have only been told what you wanted to hear pal. Your going to need at least 2000 for every home game to just survive at the very minimul level. One things for certain, your 1/2 pence in the £ is going to build a good bank balance, in 10000 years.
  12. Sorry MCL that was not a reply to you, but to Southview. Thanks for your reply though.
