  1. Surprised by how positive the Arbroath fans are being about the game. That was as easy as the first two fixtures and could comfortably have been another 4 or 6. United back on it a bit today and it never looked like anything other than an easy win.
  2. Oooft. Should be clear by more after failing to win a single league game by more than a goal and having scored at least half a dozen winners or equalisers in stoppage time. That's quite some take.
  3. Ach it wasn't even in the top 10 bad United games I've seen this season. Sandy's just an attention seeking bell-end. Best ignored.
  4. Tidy for the first and two good finishes for the second and third but, those moments aside, I thought Watt was poor last night. Very poor closing down and tracking back. When he did get the ball it was either a first time hopeful flick or a simple pass backwards. No attempt to turn and run with the ball. He looked like he was either carrying an injury or just couldn't be arsed. All forgiven, of course, because he did have those moments but I wouldn't be making changes to the team simply because he scored a few goals. In terms of overall performance and work rate Moult is still a much better option if available.
  5. Certainly there is a distinction between statutory parking fines and private parking fees in terms of enforcement but some of these private fees are enforceable and, indeed, are enforced through the courts.
  6. I think the only prohibition currently is multiple teams with the same ownership competing in the same European competition, but even that doesn't seem to be enforced. Benham used to also own FC Midtjylland until fairly recently.
  7. Good enough in the end. Ayr are pish and we were miles from our best but still should have won by a few goals.
  8. Those clips just show that Adams is an angry little bell-end. Natch. Hardly relevant to Ludo's little story.
  9. * Pus. Did this happen? Unlikely that Adams, a renowned angry little man, would be cowed by an old fanny like Jocky Scott.
  10. Unique that the awful behaviour of an individual in a position of power is conveniently brushed under the carpet? Bless.
  11. I threatened the same when United were sniffing about him. Not sure I would have stuck with it so long. I salute your indefatigability.
  12. Love the way everyone stands up in anticipation of the shot and then it erupts. Lovely stuff.
  13. I think Tilson's fine as cover in midfield when both Sibbald and Docherty are out. He'll cover the ground and make tackles but he's not going to build play and he looks to be a level below the rest of the team in terms of building play. I think our best football this season has come when Glass has played deeper and been able to play to pick the ball up deep and play passes. We had the same issue last week against ICT when we weren't able to take control of the midfield until Tilson was removed and replaced with a better ball player.
  14. He caught Gallacher a beauty with a swinging elbow. Possibly not intentional but certainly dangerous. I'm not going to argue either way but when you see the replay it's not a surprising decision.
  15. Odd take on Freeman.. I've a lot of time for Freeman but his confidence is clearly shot. He wasn't a weak link defensively today, as he has been quite a lot in the last 18 months, but you'd need to squint pretty hard not to notice how many times he took the safe option, when a more confident player would have gone forward with the ball. Contrast Freeman's performance with that of Scott McMann. To me, Freeman is probably the more technically gifted player but their contributions are miles apart this season. McMann is a guy at the top of his game; Freeman is nowhere near the player he could be, or might have been.
  16. I was impressed with ICT. They were organised and moved the ball well. We had a couple of players a little bit off it but we've played worse and won comfortably this season. Freeman looks like he has PTSD from last season, not sure if he'll ever recover; Tilson is fine as a stop-gap destroyer but I think we could have been more ambitious and put Glass in there from the start (also my feeling before the match); Watt and Moult seemed to be playing a front two, rather than Watt behind Moult which led to Moult dropping deep when really it should have been Watt. No real complaints though. Sometimes you're not at your best and the opposition play well. ICT certainly the best team to come to Tannadice this season and I would expect them to be pushing hard for 3rd/4th come the end of the season.
