I see Celtic B had 8500 for game against Rangers B, played the game at Celtic Park and also ran hospitality so income should be around minimum 75k for one game ? and they paid 40k ? to participate in the league.
Seems a great deal for Celtic and a huge own goal by the Lowland League.

Can you just change your home venue whenever you feel like it?

Tweet from club, Harry Osborne (contract cancelled by mutual agreement) and Layton Bisland (end of loan) leaving the club.

I know Bisland has had his critics, but thought he got well stuck in on Saturday and played well.  I suppose there are many factors with loans, both clubs and the player would have to be happy with any extension if he was to stay longer.

Is Dan Martins not fully fit or just a bit out of favour? I thought he was one of the stand outs until he got injured, yet has been mostly substitute since he came back.

Daniel is VERY raw. He was a mistake a game when he was in the side.

I doubt Cowden had any thoughts it wouldn’t be playable or they would have had an earlier inspection.

Presumably it’s just the referee has arrived as normal and said all ok.

The pitch was playable this morning. It was playable at kick off. No need for a pitch inspection.

Tranent turned up and didn't fancy it so started moaning about the pitch.

We used to be able to get some decent loan players in the past. Several staying on after loan finished.

    Why not anymore?

We've got a decent loan player in Aiden Gilmartin. He should be the first name on the teamsheet as is the only player who looks like he could make something happen.

But he's on the bench and when he does get on, gets taken off again because poor Maurice doesn't like the way he looked at him. Prior to the look, Maurice shouted "schoolboy stuff" at him the other night. He is a f*cking schoolboy.

    Get Maurice to f*ck!

Wonder what the chances of tomorrow going ahead are, not sure the snow situation in Falkirk?

At least with the astro there is maybe some sort of chance. East Stirling not giving anything away, though they don’t tend to post an awful lot of updates generally.

And a wee Christmas signing for us, announced at 7pm tonight.

The game went ahead at The Falkirk Stadium last Saturday so hopefully a decent chance.

He just does home games. As Nelly said the club really need more folk so they would be able to cover away games as well.

The club don't have content creaters as such so are  just doing what they can with limited resources. Whenever adverts have gone out, the replies have been few and far between but anyone interested should definitely contact the club and get on board.

Who is James Blair? Someone on here ?

Doing a lot of mouthing off on Facebook about getting the board to resign and that the board are holding back others from stepping up.

Jimmy Blair. He is the "Nottingham Supporters Club".

Seems like an arse. Thrown his toys out the pram as he didn't get his wish, i.e. - the manager wasn't sacked at the end of the season.

Personal abuse is however a step too far and is workplace bullying. It’s hardly going to motivate players to be treated in such an unprofessional and abusive manner. I’d hope that he would be spoken to regarding this by those running the club. I certainly wouldn’t want any of my family to be treated like that by a manager.

Should certainly be giving him warnings so the club could use it to get rid of him in the future (hopefully very soon).

Although I am sure the team we have is almost entirely down to money, or lack of it. Not sure anyone else would do much better.

Some of the players will be on decent money. Yes, the budget will have been cut from last season but we will be paying better wages than most of the league. Just a lot of poor recruitment and not getting value for money. Teams like Civil Service don't pay their players a weekly wage or certainly never used to and they got bonuses at certain intervals.

Very strange team selection today. Interested to know why only 15 fit players. If indeed they were fit as well.

We had three players suspended - Sinclair, Love and Thomson.

Should be just the two. They've not been scheduled any league fixtures at the start of the season due to the Scottish & South Challenge Cup and double as mop up dates for the EoS Qualifying. A couple of league fixtures have been moved to those dates.

w/e of Nov 19th - SCC/EoS Qualifying Cup (Berwick & Cumbernauld Colts only LL fixture as they've moved it to then)

    w/e of Nov 26th - Scottish/EoS Qualifying Cup (Celtic B v. Braves & Hearts B v. Dalbeattie in the LL)

    w/e of Dec 3rd - Gretna 2008 v. Cowdenbeath

So one week to the 19th, two weeks to the 26th and three weeks to the 3rd December?

I hear all the Livingston United players are wanting to walk out as Goodwillie played as a trialist at the weekend for them. I wondered if Chris will be coming back?

Chris is injured as he always is. His hamstring is good for about 20 minutes.

So the price is still £11, with a £1 discount for online purchase. The poster was correct.
Penalised for using cash, is the club run by the government?

Admission is £10 with a £1 surcharge for paying on the gate.

Outside of football, it's common practice being charged extra on the door.

Took this one in yesterday as a neutral, my first time visiting Central Park. A bit surprised to be asked for £11 for the privilege, as haven't previously come across an entry price of more than £10 at Level 5, & I think £8 at all other LL games to which I've been this season.

If you buy your ticket online in advance, it's £10. £11 is the PATG price.

At the end of the season we’ll probably lose all the players or at least those that are any good so it’ll be back to square one.
How on earth will we ever get out of this league?

A lot of our players are on 18 month or two year deals.

I can imagine there might be a legal challenge from an SPFL club asked to take part in playoffs with a ‘champion' club that couldn’t even win its own league.

Kelty Hearts were put forward as champions in 2021/21 despite only 13 games of the season having being played. They didn't win the league either, just had favourable fixtures and a good start.

I believe Brechin considered legal action but didn't go through with it?

Yes, noticed the hot dog price was £4.50.

The pie I got was £3 and I like to think I’m not too greedy a boy but it was pretty flimsy and felt like it was gone in about 4 bites.

A couple of the older boys standing along the end of the terracing brought some rather nice looking stovies in from Stephens bakers, they looked damn good, especially compared to my underwhelming pie. 🤔

The likes of home made soup, stovies etc are super cheap to make and could be sold on cheaply while still making a decent profit but it would require a committed volunteer to take on the catering on behalf of the club.

Without that, you have outsider caterer charging what they want and I assume the club getting a percentage of sales or a set fee for the pitch. No hassle for the club, potentially less income but also no waste to deal with for example.
