Those pies sound good just thinking about them, wonder if the football club run the food hut or if it’s the stadium owners (guessing the owners)?

It's an outside caterer that runs the pie hut.

I'm sure when I walked past, they were charging £4/£4.50 for a hot dog which is silly money. Must be some mark up on them.

I've noticed at other grounds this season, they are selling cans and bottles rather than decanting into cups - more relaxed rules in the league I guess.

Is the Andy Matthew lounge fine for a pint before the match? I’m quite happy to sit in the corner like an old codger with a drink, so don’t need anything fancy. 😀

    Yes, from 1.30pm.

The most likely instance at the moment is Albion losing to the Highland Champions then 18th in the Lowland League is relegated too to make room for Albion. Hope that clears things up for you @_FFC1876?

How do they fit more Colts sides in though?

Just remembered, saw clubfoot this season for Broomhill at Cowden. He was ok in general play still, and I’m sure he scored a header?

It was Gary Fraser who caught the eye in that game though. Never getting a game in the Cowden championship side mind you. Half the reason he looked good was because of the  opposition!

Depends on which Championship side. Gary Fraser gets in the team ahead of Declan Hughes or Sammy Stewart.

Both well past their prime, that’s why they’re playing non league football.
Mchugh could only dream of being at Stewart and Hemmings level anyway, prime or not.

Absolutely. Broadfoot played almost every Championship game for a decent ICT side last season though so could probably still do a job.

    Almost all.

Would like to know who the players are that would walk into a championship team.

Kirk Broadfoot could still do a job at Championship level.

    Bob McHugh?

That's me out of names but I don't claim to have a huge knowledge of the players at this level.

Some think Mo Ro should go, but I don't really blame him. He looks as frustrated as us. We get what we can afford.

I don't buy that. We are still paying decent wages to the players - yes, they are on less than last season's squad but will be on more than most of the players in the league, a lot of whom won't be getting paid at all. Our recruitment has been poor overall with a few decent signings scattered throughout. We could have got better value if Maurice hadn't signed an Under 20s side to begin with. To be fair, he acknowledged he needed experience and has started to bring that into the side.

The hunger and desire has disappeared from the lads. Never seen so many half hearted challenges last night only love and davo getting stuck in. We lost 85% of 50/50s 85% of headers. We are weak and lazy now it’s terrible to watch. 15 of us at hospitality on Saturday I wont be shy to voice my opinion in the correct manner of course.

One of Maurice's shouts at Carlos Lyon last night was "you're just a waste of space." That's not going to make players want to play for you. Is that how he talks to all the players?

I’m afraid you won’t be saying that after a couple of games. His legs have totally gone and offers nothing.

Brechin fans had been wanting him away for about a year.

Might be a better option at centre back than in midfield?

Won’t be there sadly as daughter has to go to a stupid birthday party at stupid 5 o’clock at some stupid new posh bowling alley in the St James centre in Edinburgh. Bah 😤

The burgers at Fat Hippo in Lane 7 are superb.

Hope ruddys injury isn’t too bad unfortunately he was limping badly after the game. Anyone know where love was aswell?

Farrell did very well after he came on. Some big saves.

I think someone said Love was at a wedding.

I’m feeling positive, we’re gonna do it.

Just realised not won since that fine performance at Elgin which gave us so much hope going into the play offs. Feels an awful long time ago. 😬

Tonight’s the night, be there everyone to witness it. 😀

Haven't won at home since February 19th.

If we don't win tonight, Maurice HAS to go. This can't go on.

I'm sorry that things are not great just now it genuinely hurts me and I know it hurts others who give their life and soul to this club.

You have absolutely nothing to apologise for. The amount of time and effort that you have and continue to put in to the club is staggering.

I also agree with point regarding experienced players. We have tried but players dont want to sign or offered more money elsewhere.

Why don't the players want to sign? Is it because they talk to their friends in the game? "Hi Bobby Barr (who's had a few digs at Maurice on Twitter with those Tweets liked by last season's squad), I'm thinking about signing for Cowdenbeath. Good club?"

Or they speak to Kris Renton who talked to the papers about a clash with Maurice. "Hey Rents, been approached by Cowden. Decent move?"

Cowdenbeath should absolutely be able to attract and sign good, experienced players within the budget. 100%.
