  1. Jack Baldwin has been on the whole a very sound centre half for us, he has has his moments ducking under the ball early in his tenure with us against Livingston and couple of rash last man challenges, however he has looked absolutely brutal in the three home matches he’s played in roasted for pace on numerous occasions and bullied by George Oakley I hope this is a temporary malaise. Would like James Brown to keep right back jersey. Any news on Hiwula and Purrington wouldn’t be disappointed if they were released back South both have been underwhelming at best.
  2. Not sure what Malky thought process was in picking that starting 11 no width no pace, two sitting midfielders at home against any team (other than the ugly sisters) is not what I signed up for. The back four were excellent today haven’t been convinced by Purrington but decent performance today. I’m sorry but I’m not a fan of Tillotson always off the pace, I think Jan Dhanda might be the new Martin Woods good in parts but never going to put a shift in. Edwards and Akio must start next week.
  3. The Killie fans did warn us. with injuries mounting up Harmon & Watson added to the list tonight we are very short at the back 24 hours left in the window I fully expect no more signings.
  4. Shocking challenge by Callaghan should have gone couldn’t believe Malky left him on the park it was a certainty that he was going off at some point 2nd yellow was very soft. Hopefully Malky has a better idea Edwards is a far bigger threat than Sims. Will need to see more of Purrington but haven’t been overly impressed so far. Still hopefully of a couple of signings feel we need another option both upfront and centre half. Pleased we have finally got a win
  5. Small problem Iacovitti, Harry Paton and possibly Cancola are not signed up for this season. Personally find it very concerning that we are trotting out the same excuses as last year when Malky himself has stated it’s not a sustainable plan. Last years loan signings were at best very mix with the excellent Clarke & Hungbo, the decent Vokins , the rest were ordinary at best. Last year Spittal & Iacovitti we’re still signed and RCC surprised us all.
  6. Malky in the P&J saying it may take sometime to get players in back to last season’s scenario I doubt if we lose the first ten games again we will finish top six. I might be a bit hard on him here but surely he was aware of the situation long ago not like last year when he was new into the job. Looks like a complete rebuild again with need for a minimum of ten players.
  7. Not sure if the question has been asked recently but is Josh Sims still with the club is he the new Danny Griffin
  8. Just days before window shuts and Malky in the papers stating he’s not going to sign players if they are no better than what we currently have in the squad fair enough but how bad a player is he looking at that is no better than A Samuel. I find it a bit embarrassing when a top flight club has insufficient numbers to make up a bench makes us look very tinpot. After Livingston cup game & Dundee Utd game I think it’s obvious we have insufficient players with injuries & suspensions in this busy period we desperately need extra bodies and please no more loan signings
  9. This is worrying where is all the signings we have been promised every week for the last 6 weeks?
  10. If Donaldson starts you will definitely get a penalty happens every game. * Striker drags ball back Donaldson’s kicks standing leg. Is there any stats on who’s given away most penalties Coll must be in with a shout with Keith Watson not far behind.
  11. Wanted new Tonto to join the Loan Arranger HiHo Silver away
  12. I may be wrong but I think the six player loan restriction is only if they come in from other Scottish clubs. Malky still has time to have a full team of loan signings before the window closes allowing the fans to feel fully invested in “our” club really enjoy developing players for other clubs. Looking forward to Sunday The Loan Arrangers vs The Rangers. Ryan Kent must be petrified facing RCC or Randall. #shambles
  13. Good grief so much for trying to regain our identity another loan signing.
  14. Quick anyone got a book of excuses for this one …. Maybe we should have stuck with the Covid-19 route at least each defeat is only 3-0. I am personally going with not enough time to integrate new signings into system. How many signings next week? , may I respectfully suggest signing a left full back oh the heady days of Hugh Robertson, Evangelos Oikonomou or even Ricky Foster and I know it’s old ground but seriously Randall kept over Naismith baffling.
  15. Sorry don’t like loans no sense of identity for the club develop players to sell on not for other clubs. NO MORE LOANS
  16. “Myself and my coaching team all have good experience in England and when you phone a trusted source then it gives you a good and true character reference. “That helps because I want to make sure the culture is right and that means bringing in the right characters. “Once you get enough of those characters you see the club really grow.” Maybe I’m being a bit simplistic with my thinking and should be excited about another ‘loan’ signing from the English Premiership but how can a club grow developing players for other clubs.
  17. One plus of having a small squad the players not picked won't take up a lot of room in the stadium, leaving more seats for the paying customers. Well played Malky
  18. I'm lead to believe that the new season tickets are to be hand delivered by all the new signings that are coming in.....
  19. Would my synopsis be correct we are waiting to later in the window to sign players as we are looking to get the ‘right’ players in. Or we are waiting to later in the window when players are panicking that they can’t get a contract elsewhere and might as well sign for Ross County for a season until they get a better option closer to home. Personal opinion not a big lover of the loan signing developing player for another team surely the best business model is a Ross Stewart or Jackson Irvine identify a ‘good’ player keep him a season or two and sell on.
  20. Regardless if Kelly is fit now it’s a very flawed plan to go into a new season with a Chocolate solider at left back sign another option IF Kelly stays fit he can compete for the starting berth.
  21. With Falkirk going down anyone fancy a Jordan MCGhee swap deal with DKD.
  22. 5points ahead win on Tuesday 8 points ahead. Dundee Utd draw 7 points or lose still 8points behind with 3 games to play, We win on Saturday 10 or 11 points so to cut a long story short yes.
