Ayr United have appointed countless managers who were fresh faced and up and coming - the majority end in failure. What have Brown and the like achieved as managers that makes them so appetising? As for Bowyer, I'm certain he isn't coming.

There might have been a few people unhappy with Bullen after the playoffs but wanting him gone was absolutely not the consensus amongst the fan base, it wasn't even the consensus in the P&B echo chamber FFS. +1 for Curtis Woodhouse by the way.

Disappointed for Bullen as a guy, he's worked his arse off and been a great ambassador for the club. However, results speak for themselves and a change was required. I'm hoping a few of the deadwood in the backroom staff clear off as well; the GK coach being the first.

He's done f**k all but he if we wanted someone to work within the confines of Mathie's Make Believe Management System then he's going to get the job.

If you look at Morton's backroom staff it is very similar to ours. I don't buy in to this myth that Ayr United have a massive budget because we have so many 'experts' on the staff; the likes of Morton and ICT are virtually the same as us. Kelty game is now a must progress for Bullen, if we lose that game then he is gone. I have no idea who would want to come in and work with this bunch of players though, so I suspect it will be McGeady who gets the gig.
