  1. Looks like training at any other fitba club, but with a few extra million in wages a week.
  2. Red Lion is alright but I'm not sure it would be at the top of my recommendation list for Prestwick. Vic's is a lot nicer and has the big screen up, Golf Inn is always nice but not great for sports, Pioneer to satisfy that 'Spoons desire, Buf if you're under 21 and Caprice if you're rich.
  3. That is unexpected news but another big step in the right direction in terms of keeping the stadium renovations on-going and building links with the community. Well done the chairman.
  4. Apart from the ones who attacked the club mascot that is.
  5. Away fans welcome in the Hub before the game, scran, pints and queues guaranteed. Not sure which boozers in town would be busy pre-match tbh...
  6. Literally every out of the box online store is better than ours.
  7. I remember being in the Sports bar inside it, wasn't it named after Maradona or something?
  8. They also said that they weren't going to knock them down, after saying they were going to knock them down. Turned out they had to knock them down.
  9. Given that Raith are one of the few teams we've beaten at Somerset in 2023, I'm going with a home win. 3-1. Next.
  10. Outsider here, I come in peace. How did Talbot end up losing all their stalwarts and replacing them with a bunch of lads from mid to lower WOSFL sides? I thought it was strange as you guys have done very well with players who knew senior game over the last fifteen years.
  11. Agreed, I know it was his choice but we've essentially played a friendly against a Lowland League side. What i would also say is, Moff hasn't really played for the club since Hopkin took over so there could be a wee bit of that in it. Looks like he started 4 games in 21/22 and was used sparingly as a sub. Last season he was the fitness coach(?) and then ended up at Glenafton on loan and obviously this year he's not at the club. I am sure Moff still had a great day and this is only part of his testimonial calendar so he'll have done well out of things financially. When i hit ten years service at my job i got a paperweight.
  12. Think Moff was only on the park about 15 mins, bit surprised when he came off!
  13. McAllister's game is more suited to centre half, however he is far too small to play it at this level.
  14. Is he the one who got injured against Alloa and basically never played again?
  15. Thought there might be a wee bit of novelty today but it was very much treated like a competitive training session for both teams. I thought Ahui, Senga, Tomlinson and Dowds all showed up well for us.
  16. Mullin's time at Ayr was a lot like this, he is a very streaky player. When he first joined us and he was excellent for a few months and then started to tail off towards Christmas. We then signed him permanently and he tore Cove apart up in Aberdeen and then was largely anonymous until his injury - I don't think he was ever really fit after that. I'd have kept him on, absolutely, but I am not surprised to read your comment.
