  1. He got only 5 league starts under Locke and sat on the bench for nearly 4 months before being loaned out to Dumbarton, where he made an almost instant impact. There's something deeply suspicious about why Locke did that, as others have hinted at, above.
  2. Did he? Vaughan got 5 league games under Locke in which we won 3, drew 1 and lost 1. The lost game was the 2-0 home defeat to Falkirk on 10th September. Vaughan never started another game for us after that.
  3. Quite correct. Add to that the fact that if we did sell him for peanuts a large chunk of Rovers' support would disappear, never to be seen again.
  4. We don't. We have absolutely zero confidence in our board to get anything from anybody.
  5. Okay. Of all the players still under contract he's the one I'd really want for next season. Absolutely crucial we do everything to keep him.
  6. Bambino7 mentioned this afternoon that it was a 'distinct possibility', and he would know.
  7. Your defence of the board is beginning to get tiresome. Unfortunately for them it's probably going to get worse when players are allowed to leave for nothing. It's already been hinted that Vaughan might be on his way and given how useless the board are it'll probably be for peanuts - or a lie will be told to cover it up.
  8. How do you figure that out? We'd been in free fall since late October and were saddled with gems like McHattie, M’Voto, Johnston, Roberts, Skacel, Thompson, Brennan and Penksa. In short we still had Locke's duds, we didn't have a decent goalkeeper, we loaned out Vaughan and gave away Bates. And to compound matters Hughes wasn't playing Barr or Benedictus and was generally behaving like a lunatic. Like I said, the blame for our dreadful season lies with the board when they appointed Locke last May.
  9. But the root of the problem wasn't February. It was May 2016.
  10. Today's FFP According to Chairman Young: "However, there are a core of players who accept that they have created the problem and who want to do everything they possibly can to resolve it." What a fuckin ridiculous statement from the arrogant c**t. None of this would have happened if they hadn't appointed Locke.
  11. I agree with what you're saying but in this case it's on the FFP Facebook page
  12. The easiest way to get the fans back on board is to win games, not get involved in community based projects.
  13. How about Ian Durrant? After his arrival at Dumbarton in January they lost only 4 games in 14.
