I’m getting used to it. The only exception is when the flagstick shadow is near or on my putting line. Then I take it out. I try to take the change positively and have started to imagine that the pin gives me something to aim at.

For the first time I was picked to play in our clubs Pennants team. Played at the weekend on our home course and won and thoroughly enjoyed myself! It was played "off the stick" (no handicaps). The guy I was playing would normally be on a 3 while I'm normally on a 7. He was bombing drives 20 - 30m past me all day but my chips and putts and were pretty good. It was a close match all the way that I eventually won 2 & 1 , and our team won 5 - 3 (8 man team). Anybody else play pennants here?
