These two on commentary tonight are a refreshing change.

I hope we've got either Murray or Watson available for this because we're going to need a bit of physical presence up against Nouble.

That was obvious by Udogie but Fernandes would've 100% got a penalty for that.

Eriksen is absolutely done at this level.

The last known era was the post Aston Villa era after the wonderful comeback when they won 3-2.
That lasted 4 full days then Forest pumped them.
Think we might be between eras the the moment.
Depends on the result today. A win will definitely mark the beginning of a new era at Old Trafford.

I'm so confused about what United era we're in. Is it a new one? Still.the previous one? Or back to an old Solskjaer one?
Seems like every week is a new era there.

I have a sneaking feeling that Spurs are going to absolutely annihilate Man U here.
I could easily look a fool afterwards for saying this, but I have a feeling Werner is going to do the business today. I know he's a bit of a joke figure, but Man Utd are surely exactly the sort of team that even the hapless no-hopers have a chance against.

Did you expect to canter to the league with no blip in performance levels?
To be fair we've been riding our luck most of the season. We've never really been that good.

Behave yourself
We've done nothing since he got given the new deal. Could be an expensive mistake.

3 more years of Murray isn't looking quite so appealing right now.

De Bruyne doing more in 20 minutes than some players manage in a whole match (or more).
I heard them say on the radio before this match that he had already managed more goal contributions in the few minutes he'd played since getting back than Antony had all season for Man United

Get him in the Scotland squad!

Not been much of a game but worth tuning in to hear that Cole Palmer is "football bright".

Boab makes the cut in Hawaii with a -4 2nd round to see him at -3 after a +1 first round when he went out in the windiest conditions
It's stating the obvious, but it's important he makes a few early cuts and picks up some points. Hopefully he can push for a top 30 finish.

It's fine. We got that out of the way last week...

Great signing. I've wanted to see Turner at Raith since his Stranraer days when he looked a real talent. As has been mentioned we really couldn't have got a better replacement for Stanton. Pretty ridiculous we've managed to get someone of his talent in January but that'll be the Derek Adams effect and I'm not complaining.
Another excellent piece of business by Murray, Potter et al.
Same here. He stuck out like a sore thumb for Stranraer and I've followed his career since then.
I can only assume though that Scott Brown is on the verge of becoming a full time centre back.

These two posts surprised me. I posted similar on the match thread. My Twitter algorithm seemed to show up with lots of raith fans commenting about airdrie fans having the audacity to celebrate a win against the best team in the league. Why wouldn’t we celebrate it? Although we are in the promotion play offs, our ultimate aim is still survival and still think that will be a challenge if we get unlucky with injuries. At what point is it acceptable to celebrate a win?
I don't blame the Airdrie fans at all. For a first season up, mid table safety along with having the Indian sign over the promotion chasing side which contains the manager who left you for them and a number of ex players, well that would be pretty much as good as you could hope for.

Andy Halliday would be such a bad signing, for so many reasons.
Yeah. Not the sort of person I'd really like to see in a Rovers shirt.

Do the Middlesbrough fans not realise there is a return leg?

O'Reilly has 5 offers on the table according to the Courier.

Wigan v Manchester Utd still to come (and a good few replays): but that aside has Maidstone edging out Stevenage been the only actual 'shock' or 'giant-killing'? Possibly the drabbest R3 ever.
I think so but I wouldn't rule out United springing a surprise tomorrow...

Yep, that first match we could just have easily won 1-0. We hit the woodwork and missed a couple of other clear chances. Yesterday we did absolutely nothing after they scored and never at any point in time looked like we'd get back on terms. The scores might be the same but the two matches themselves were quite different.

After our recent run you can hardly blame anyone for not bothering about an away match we'll most likely lose.
