Can imagine most opposition fans will be bricking it if the scores are level going into the last 10 minutes against us regardless if the last minute goals start to dry up. The seed has been planted. Not sure if that filters down to opposition players but I'd be surprised if it's not in the back of their minds. For the moment lets just enjoy the ride, we have been absolutely spoilt this season in terms of excitement that's for sure.

I don't doubt for a second it will affect the opposition players while our players will always have the belief that they are still in a match even if a couple of goals down.

It's a great place to be in.

  2. This feels very much like I remember the 92/93 season. Not in the manner of victory because back then we did comfortable wins, but more the fact that every match you think this will be the one where we come apart, and it hasn't happened so far.

Unfortunately for us, Dundee United look like being worthier foes than Killie and the Pars were that season.

I had a feeling at 3-2 down we'd come back and win, such is the belief and character in the squad. However, the goals we conceded tonight made for grim viewing, especially when goal difference could well end up being a major factor come the end of the season.  Murray spoke of bringing in a  "pacy winger" when interviewed by the pundits, but I think we require a proper , commanding center half.

If we get Watson back fit I think we'll be fine at centre half. I'm not sure we need another wide player, but it's true that we do lack pace out wide so I can see where he's coming from.

Either way, what a night that was tonight. Could've been about 4 or 5 goals ahead, lost the plot completely for 20 minutes and then somehow turned it around again. What a team.

Yeah, it needs to be cleared by the US government by the end of this month. Perhaps an indication that it's not going to be.

I wonder if this and Rahm moving will trigger more players leaving. The likes of Xander, Cantley and Cam Young in particular have always been heavily linked with LIV.

You would expect so. If the merger is going to fall through, then LIV will be doubling down and will no doubt look to add another couple of 'Ryder cup standard' players to their roster.

After 15 games last season Spurs had scored 29, conceded 22 and sat 5th on 26 points

    Now they’ve scored 29, conceded 22 and sit 5th on 27 points

That just shows how good he is. Same goals for and against but he's squeezed an extra point out of it.

Missed a McSauce masterclass for an Emery masterclass. I absolutely love watching this Villa team, especially at Villa Park. Some terrifically fun and different players, great shape on and off the ball from Emery, and they're led by Super John McGinn. The best team in the Premier League to watch so far this season.

Yeah they were excellent value for that tonight. Good to see.

  7. The reluctance to have bifurcation in the game bemuses me. As Rory just said yesterday, the reality is it's already in place, they just won't admit to it.

Reduce the length for the pros and let the rest of us just get on with it

An excellent T4th finish for Grant Forrest at the Australian Open, 3 shots behind the winner Joauquin Niemann who won at the second playoff hole against Rikuyo Hoshino.

Connor Syme was 17th and Calum Hill T51st, Bob MacIntyre was on his way home early after missing the cut.

Unfortunately Forrest missed out on an Open qualifying spot on WGR to Adam Scott.
