Thoughts turn to Thursday and starting 11. Ross County seem to have preferred 3-4-1-2 in recent games. Cant see us moving away from 4-2-3-1. We seemed to have a lot less control in Partick games when Brown and Byrne weren’t together as the 2 and when Stanton wasn’t playing behind Vaughan. Matthews done well against Fitzpatrick but Dhanda might fancy it against him. Home game I’d definitely have Easton (if fit) in for Turner on left. Mullin is obviously struggling so Connolly will be a definite starter. I think we can get at County. I think they can get at us as well. Ashcroft has surely recovered

8pm in Kirkcaldy on a Thursday for County fans ain’t great either.

Yes.?That photo of him last night is incredible. The way he strolled forward, flicked the ball up into his hands before placing the ball on the spot, Mitchell knew which way that penalty was going and still couldn’t get enough on it to save it. Bloody brilliant.

No chance it will get changed

From a Raith fan…Thistle players and fans immense.Fans and players appreciated each other for a long time after the game. Players deservedly clapped off by the Raith fans. Players looked totally dejected going onto team bus. As for Raith that tonight sums up a large part of our season…not great at times but get the job done (somehow). Lewis Vaughan… what a moment…what a photo of him standing in front of that South Stand. We deserve a shot at the Premiership team.

We were a much better team when we worked it into Stanton or Vaughan last night. Rudden came on an everything was long and aimless. I’m close to starting with Vaughan and Stanton again to be honest even though I just said in the other thread Hamilton will come in. I’ll leave it up to Murray.

Really good performance up until Thistle scored and then we dug deep and Kev made some good saves. Some cracking football at times with the link up play between the forward players class. 2 cracking goals.Thought that one from Vaughan at start of 2nd half was going in. Thought when Rudden came on we stopped working the ball forward and started going long too early. Hamilton should’ve been on instead of Rudden anyway. Disappointing for Watson. Corr done what was required when he came on. Murray class throughout against Graham. Need the same from him on Friday. Going to be a cracking game and atmosphere on Friday. Interesting to see that staring 11 again. Lets hope we get the job done.

No more ticket pricing chat from me. Tickets bought and can’t wait. Kev Matthews Watson Murray Dick Brown Byrne Mullin Stanton Turner Vaughan Think Murray will go a bit safe. I was even thinking about James Brown ahead of Matthews with the Fitzpatrick factor down our right and that’s why Mullin starts ahead of Connolly. But think with Matthews starting last few games at right back I think he’ll get the nod there. Even though it’s 1st leg I still think Murray will want those impact subs in 2nd half if needed and with Connolly on the right, Easton on left and Smith and/or Hamilton up top they might be the difference against a tiring Thistle.

Don’t grudge it either but should be same price for both games.

I’m not moaning about the £24. For a 2 legged tie both clubs should be charging the same.

Not wanting to sound like Ro Sham Bo but the ticket prices should be the same for both legs of the semi. Poor from Raith. Moan over.
