I know it drives most of you mad, but I'm very much for keeping team injury/knock news behind closed doors. This championship is tighter than 2 fingers in the ass. You may knock about the advantage thing and I guess during L.B's tenure it probably was rather laughable but why give away anything to anyone? I know it doesn't help the speculation but lets not be kidded, if we weren't speculating about injuries/selection reasons, we would about something else haha!
I mean you can say that players have knocks and they may or may not make it - the opposition still don’t know either way.
Not announcing someone is out for the season, or even that they are injured is just ridiculous though.

Damaged MCL, doubt we’ll see him again this season.
Absolutely bizarre that the club haven’t bothered to announce it.

We get an undeserved chance to put them under pressure, with all the momentum and immediately f**k it up.
Just utterly pathetic.

We never get any updates about what's happening injury wise though, not just the match previews.
Has anyone actually ever mentioned what is wrong with Paddy Reading?

This referee seems like a condescending slimey w**k tbh.

I think he’s easily nullified imo. Too many times he disappears if a full back gets tight to him.
I think he can still contribute this season as ultimately we cannot be using this team for the rest of the season. Murphy has to come back in as well. The only player I think that is 99% likely to be away next season is McGinty. I don’t think Brown rates him at all.
Yeah, but at the same time when he is one of very few attacking outlets it’s easier to do that.

Chalmers doesn’t strike me as Brown’s type of player unfortunately.
When he’s on it he’s top drawer, however if we’re under the cosh he’s no the sort to do any tracking back.
Dont think we’ll see him in an Ayr jersey next season, so he’ll be an absolute stick on to sign for the likes of Thistle or a marquee signing for a resurgent Falkirk
I think this narrative around Chalmers is unfair, and he only gets it because he is good technically.
He always works hard, ultimately he just isn’t very good defensively. Any decent manager would find a way to build around him and get the best out of him as he is still one of the best players in this league.

He'll be 36 next season, hard pass.
Graeme Mathie is preparing that two year deal as we speak…

Huge win that, so fair play!
Always going to be reservations going forward in terms of the style of side that was picked today - but ultimately we just need to stay up.
I’m not convinced that starting side would win very often!

Celtic v St. Johnstone? So, Car Crash radio continues?
I might say 'Unbelievable' but it's all too believable given what's gone before.
It's really time the powers that be at Pacific Quay realised that the current format only works if they have a talented presenter and knowledgeable pundits. Otherwise a once excellent programme is nose-diving to oblivion.
Yeah - just switched on to listen to open all mics. Straight back off again.

Waited years for McGinty to be dropped for his charity defending but it rarely happened. This season he has actually looked ok and would have let him away with the odd error. Brown has certainly been consistent when it comes to wielding the axe.
Perhaps once he has his own team it might be a good idea but right now we need to drop excessive housekeeping rules and just get over the line. The one crumb of comfort for the happy clappers is that many thought the same against Airdrie and Partick yet we somehow got results. Perhaps he has watched Caley and thought a kicking match is the best chance of a result
I think my issue is that he hasn’t been consistent.
Sanders has had several howlers for example.

Musonda at left back going by the warm up down at the corner.
Train was full of Hearts fans on the way up. Wish I’d got on the train to Dingwall now with them.
A left hand side of Musonda and McKenzie and the other of McAllister and Bryden will provide some decent comedy - must he the least technical side options you will ever see at this level.

Are we playing 424? I just assumed murph was maybe being protected and only used if we need him
My guess is he’ll be Bryden and McKenzie wide; which we know will work fantastically!

I’m genuinely in disbelief, I was raging at the Chalmers part then hadn’t even noticed he had also dropped McGinty and Murphy.
McGinty dropped for one mistake while Clarke and Sanders aren’t?

That team is a complete and utter fucking abomination.

Mathie has disappeared to the extent that he isn’t even part of the Ayrforce team today!

Polite reminder
I mean, given results going in our favour last week, I think there is quite a lot we can do about it…
A poor performance and result today and alarm bells will quite rightly be beginning to sound again.

Aye, defeat tomorrow and I'll be expecting relegation
Tomorrow is absolutely huge, not just in terms of the individual result but in terms of building momentum and playing into some form. Another poor loss and I don’t see where we go from there…

So, this relegation thing is getting worrying again now…

Agreed.
The Euro-96 kit is so different to the classic Scotland kits that I'd be surprised if it didn't get panned by the majority at the time - it's always like that. Our new kit will be at least memorable because it will be associated with Euro-2024. If we get out of the groups or beat Germany in it then that'll move it towards classic territory.
I do get what you mean, but I can’t remember a top being quite so universally disliked as this one.
A more out there style top generally has a more even split, but you are only seeing the very odd person that likes it.

There is absolutely nothing about that top that will make it a classic in thirty years.
Unless we win the Euros, of course.

So much for it looking better when you see the real thing, what an utter mess of a strip!

All of us just getting error codes and can’t even get in the waiting room!
