Aye Vaughan looks like he'd be happy to play along with that...
I wouldn't be giving him an option tbh. Dumbarton still have other decent players to play if it was to happen anyway so don't imagine it would make much of a difference! Not that it will as of course it would be a pretty shocking course of action.
However if Raith get increasingly more desperate....0 -
Being perfectly honest if I was John Hughes I would be finding a way round it, such as encouraging the physio to find an injury to Vaughan. Wouldn't be too bothered about sporting integrity etc to be honest.

I have just searched your fixtures again. I thought Morton and Hibs were your last two. I didn't click onto the second page.
St. Mirren away will be be tough, no doubt about it. They must be the form team of the league the moment, so yes, I can see this being a concern. Ayr at home though should be a gimme.
We may be awful but it's hardly a gimme. After the Dumbarton game we were third in the form table.0 -
I see Stenny just signed a goalie. Ryan Stevenson must be a better keeper than him too then!

Genuinely no idea what Dunfermline have done to his shooting ability, as it was never an issue with us. If anything you would say he was pretty clinical.

I can see it now. Dumbarton sign Little despite not needing him, while we have zero fit strikers

Does Gary Locke have history with Raith fans from his playing days, a reason he might hate us?
It's the only thing I can think of that would explain his apparent need to f**k us over.Well he may have a reason to hate Ayr United Hence going out of his way to boost our relegation chances.

Surely the board have to back the manager? If he wants to get shot of him on loan and they say no they'd be as well punting him and bringing someone else in as they clearly don't trust his decision making.
If Stevo and Raith have approached us chanting us releasing him so he can join Raith I wouldn't be surprised if we mentioned Vaughan as part of it. As much as we were happy enough to get shot of him he was contracted until the end of the season and would be daft not to use it to our advantage.
I see he was left out of the squad completely yesterday, is that a regular thing?Surely Raith wouldn't be that unbelievably thick, and would know Dumbarton would be desperate to get him off the wage bill.
If Dumbarton have managed to get rid of him without paying off his contract then that in itself is a massive win for them.

Surely you guys have enough strikers, let us have one. We will have a grand total of zero shortly.....

Genuinely staggered. Please don't start Stevenson today

Vaughan!? That's the last we've seen of him then. His contracts up in the summer. He won't sign again and based on his contributions to the season so far, I wouldn't want him to anyway.I may be getting him mixed up but was he not excellent against us at the start of the season at Somerset?

Locke has a fascination with signing centre midfielders even though we have plenty of them and have no cover at LB and are struggling up front.
Unfortunately, I can see us signing him.
He couldn't play central midfield effectively in league one though, I hope that would help your case.

There is absolutely no way Raith will sign Stevenson surely. Does nothing but help out Dumbarton.

Also fulton, Tierney, Robertson, Kingsley, Burke, harper, paterson. These 8 or 9 guys will be the core of our team in a couple of years, there's no point denying them vital experience that could be hugely beneficial to give mulgrew and greer anymore caps, our campaign is over there'snnothing to play for our ranking basically can'tfall any lower chuck them in arrange friendlies galore in two yyears you have a cracking young team coming together.
Patterson has been given a chance and has been utterly fucking dreadful; shouldn't be in the side until he puts some serious work into his defending. Being desperate for an Alan Hutton return really says it all.
Also the same Harper who can't get a game with Brighton under 23's.....

Credit to McCall, he'll be on very limited resources compared to the vast majority of teams in the league but he looks to be making the most of it.
I'm definitely surprised by how poor your side has been; I will however leave any possible gloating until the end of the season. Things can turn around pretty quickly in this league and we have a run of games (Morton away, Hibs home, Raith away, Falkirk home, Dunfermline away, Dundee United home) which is pretty tough. You look at those fixtures and think you could easily struggle to win any!

Neither Geggan or Fordyce are anywhere near good enough at full back.
Question marks whether Geggan is good enough at centre mid.Docherty is beginning to excel at this level; Geggan should be more than good enough.

Why do people keep bringing up him putting two goalkeepers or two left backs on the bench?
Surely that's obvious?

Murdoch starting for the U20s tonight is a very promising sign.
Disappointing; was hoping we would get to see Hutton again in a couple of weeks time!

Yup, I forgot about Mcmullan too. For Ayr's sake I hope neither side is in for him. The only thing which Ayr can offer him is a guaranteed game.

Speaking objectively any player would look at the potential of the Queens team with Dobbie there and choose them (you would think; unless there's a huge gulf in wages)
With Cardle and Higginbotham I don't see why Dunfermline would need Carmichael....

An outstanding piece of play by Dobbie, but staggeringly inept defending.

They probably focus more on actual ability than physique. That'd be my guess anyway.
Surprisingly you can focus on both.

Coming from the guy who's teams employs Paul Cairney, ex Jacamo.
Aye because I was clearly trying to insult Morton there based on the superiority of our players physiques! More wondering what the f**k Celtic are doing with their youth players.

Surely you'll be releasing Moffat this time? As will surely be looking to challenge for promotion. Time for him to come home and fire us to fourth in league one next season [emoji23]
