M’Voto always seemed like a bit of a donkey as he looked a bit clumsy when we played against Raith, but generally he was very effective.

He undeplays the gap between the two sides massively but you can understand him being biased. An interesting listen though and great content.
Found the fraudulent goings on at Dunfermline during his spell there interesting!
And yes you were clearly the far better side over that season.

Pre season hasn’t even started yet, no reason to worry at all.

Yeah that’s pretty brutal on the Fantalk chat. Guy sits a few seats away from me. Customer service should be something that is addressed at the club, 100%.
We renewed tickets earlier in the week, and there wasn’t one “Thanks very much for renewing, see you next season”
Something as simple as that goes a long way. Sadly lacking.
You’re a bit needy aren’t you.
Can’t believe people seriously care what the office staff say to them when they but y their seasons.0 -
Aye I would quite like a LB who can get forward and provide something in attacking, something which I don’t think Talbot would provide and Crane/Marshall would. Is Talbot much better than Paddy Boyle?
I obviously didn’t see him much last season, but Talbot seems to be a solid championship player whilst Boyle is a solid enough league one defender.0 -
I know he’s being mentioned already but had a look on the Somerset Road End messageboard for the first time in a while and someone saying we’ve offered a deal to Jason Talbot. My preference would be Callum Crane or Jordan Marshall but I suppose he would be ok.
Doesn’t really fit in with McCall saying we are looking for pace, however I’m sure he would be solid enough.0 -
Seems Ayr fans have a high opinion of Barr? Wondering why as he done nothing positive in our games against Ayr last season.
6 goals in 2 seasons and only a handful of assists is a pretty pathetic return for an attacking player. Good riddance I say.
I don’t have a high opinion of him, however some players flourish at different clubs. He clearly has ability, and was previously excellent at championship level not too long ago.1 -
That signing tells me that you lot have thrown in the towel for the season coming.
Barr could b a fantastic signing for someone. Aitken seems to be quite good at getting the best out of players (possibly last season aside)0 -
It guess it shows how poor our management was that our two best academy graduates played less than ten games between them. Longridge was decent when he cane in at the end of that season, sure he was only like 17.

Im surprised Crawford has top league offers. He was fantastic before his injury, however he was then very injury prone and wasn’t nearly as good on his return. Although obviously wasn’t fully fit. Hoped this would be enough for us to hold onto him.

He did a lot of running, but not much else when playing with scotland, and the chances he missed were unbelievable. Holland at hampden, a case in point. Then there was the extra 3 or touches he use to take and let the defenders get back (Holland in amsterdam, italy in bari)
You know you’re going to be playing in league one next season?
He would be a brilliant signing.
He was also excellent for Scotland, and had a decent scoring record given the role he was asked to play.5 -
Thought he came across well too. Didn’t even seem particularly thick either ther and spoke well.

The quote was referring to the standard of keepers in last years League One.
No idea about Fleming, can’t say I remember much of him if I’ve seen him.
Nope - “would be” suggests the future.0 -

A less than ideal solution given that many of our goals were lost from our inability to defend corners and crosses into the box.
He improved hugely at crosses during his time with us IMO. In the championship he did well from crosses, barring a wind assisted disaster against Dumbarton.0 -
Fleming would be the best keeper in league one by a mile - the standard was shockingly poor last season.

Looking forward to that! Let’s hope he’s as much of a seething mess as he is most of the time on the park.

Wonder who the midfielder is that McCall wants to sign. He’s obviously still under contract so I’m guessing we’ve got money for a fee.
Assuming it’s Turner.....0 -
I know Tierney has been about a while, but people are quick to forgot he’s only 20!

Yup, wouldn’t want Talbot either.

That's me just set up a £20 a month standing order to the AU500 fund, sent the email enquiry yesterday and was given membership number 179 so don't think it'll be long until it's at 200.
The number last Sunday in the update was 123. If it’s moved up to 179 in the space of six days that is magnificent. Only two off quadrupling the number from a couple of months ago!0 -
Lol. They're terrible and will be worse next year.
Genuinely can’t tell if you’re being serious?0 -
Or now we have shankland and we absolutely tank them...
Unfortunately, they are on a completely different level since we last played them. Celtic didn’t manage to beat them at all once since Clarke took over. Whilst they despatched the lesser sides pretty much every time they game up against them.0 -
Killie away
St Mirren home
Stranraer away
Airdrie home
'av it!!!!
Why would you possibly want to lose our bragging rights by playing them away!
I don’t want them at all tbh.1

I don’t really see how he was treated horrendously.
He made mistakes, the vast majority of people felt he needed a break from the first team. Ruddy came in and the same thing happened so he got his chance again.
