I've only had Quail Hollow on for the last 4 holes but Schauffele is producing one of the worst putting runs I can recall seeing.

It's as if Scheffler has somehow managed to transfer his shite putting on to him, he's been woefully short several times.

It was our Open at Bishopbriggs today, I played largely shite but did can a 30 footer for a 2 on the par 3 14th to get some sweep money.

Unfortunately he's having a bad day and has dropped right outside the top 10.

Finished with a birdie but a 1 over round of 72 sees him finish in a tie for 13th on 13 under, 9 behind the winner Chris Gotterup. Still a decent week but promised a lot more.

  3. Cambuslang drew 3-3 with Peasy, but even if they had won they would have been relegated anyway as Maybole had a shock 1-0 win at Drumchapel.

Ashfield had come back from behind twice to lead 3-2 against Whitletts, but went 4-3 down before equalising late on. The draw means Ashfield can no longer go up and the final promotion spot is now between Shotts and Glencairn.

Ryan Fox has always had a reputation as one of the good guys, so no real surprise that he and Bob get on so well. Delighted for Bob.

Meanwhile, I have a tie tomorrow, so went for a wee practice round this morning. Safe to say I am not carrying any form into the big game. My short game is incredibly shite

Played a tie yesterday, 1 up on the 8th tee when the group in front waved us through. You can guess what happened next, and the driver deserted me for the next few holes. I was 3 down on the tee and won 14 and 15 to get back to 1, but he won 16 to go dormie and 17 was halved in pars to end the game. Tbf he holed more putts than me so probably shaded it.

  5. One thing our latest poster seems to have forgotten is that teams who either own their facility, or have taken on a community asset transfer on somewhere with an artificial pitch will have to factor in the cost of replacing the surface every 5-7 years. That will comfortably be around the same as what maintaining a grass pitch would be for the same length of time. Saw a figure recently that Gartcairn have invested around 250k so far into their ground between the surface and the stands that they put in, they certainly aren't just spunking cash on wages.

He seems to suggest that teams who are hiring a facility rather than owning it are swimming in cash, a lot of teams will be paying hundreds of pounds per week for training and games.

So you think the league is stronger for having teams without their own facility? For me there are amateur leagues more suited to ground sharing and council facilities.

Petershill Park is a council facility, has been used many times in the UEFA Women's Champions League, regularly hosts games in the SWPL with crowds bigger than most WOSFL games, and is to undergo around 350k worth of upgrades in the summer. Does Caley Locos and ourselves sharing there make the league weaker? We've never had problems getting our games played, in fact we've been sat on our arse for most of the last 3 months as we've ran out of games. If our game at Cambuslang hadn't been abandoned and fixture at Johnstone Burgh postponed twice we'd have been finished a fortnight ago.

In your word salad post your only valid point imo is the ongoing Cumbernauld/Rob Roy saga. I can't see how the league can let that go on indefinitely while stopping any new grass pitch groundshare arrangements.

Aye. Said a LIV event in Portland, Oregon was a better atmosphere than playing at the Ryder Cup…….an event im almost positive he has never played in

Yep, he's a fud. It would be like me saying the atmosphere at a Petershill v St. Roch's games is better than a Superclasico in Buenos Aires.

Twitter was full of tweets from LIVbots the other week when they were playing in front of huge crowds in Australia. Not so much at the weekend when next to no c**t showed up to watch in Singapore.

Read a bit about Talor Gooch getting an invite to the USPGA. He seems a bit of a walloper

He's certainly got a very high opinion of himself for someone who has achieved relatively f**k all. 6 majors so far missing the cut in half of them, and maybe his two finishes of 12th and 42nd on the Asian tour last year explain why he has avoided playing on it this year.
