    MATCH UPDATE:
With regards to the abandoned game vs Scone on 11th November 2023, the club submitted a protest to the league which was heard last night with both clubs in attendance.
The club have received intimation this afternoon that we have been awarded a 3-0 victory and 3 points.
We will not be making any further comment regarding this.

    Why was the game abandoned?.

  2. I will now go and leave you to discuss how expert you all are and how the real experts have it all wrong... Ps. Are any of your teams actually competing this year ?? If not why are you even bothered... and why have your club allowed players to go on loan elsewhere??
Enjoy the rest of  the season, as long as it continues. If/ when the real experts pull the plug then fair enough, while all you "self proclaimed experts" are asking for an end to the season... Forgive me for not listening. Unless any of you can pull a degree in Virology or Public Health out of your pocket....

Have you or your family been affected by the virus?.
If you have,Im very surprised that you believe the game should go on.
  3. As I posted in the west forum......
I tested positive in November,I didn’t have a single symptom,in fact in the days leading up to being tested I must have been temperature checked easily fifty times. It still haunts me that I almost certainly passed it on to an elderly person who had to spend seven weeks seriously ill in hospital. Not once did I have a cough, temperature or discomfort of any kind.
To sum up the madness of it all,I have mate at Dunipace, originally from Denny, who travels through from Stirling for training and matches, but cant visit his mother who still lives in Denny.
    Justify that
This has to come from the government. If its left to the SFA or individual associations clubs will still break the rules,I’d be willing to bet teams will still train.

  4. Many of those tested will be asymptomatic but carrying the virus. Players at lower levels aren't tested, therefore asymptomatic people will never know they have it.

I tested positive in November,I didn’t have a single symptom.I never for a second thought I had the virus.Im also certain I passed it on to someone who became seriously ill and had to spend seven weeks in hospital.
  5. Its been touched on in another thread, but I thought the subject deserves a thread of its own......

Whats your thoughts on the Amateurs moving to summer football?.

For me something major has to change in the Amateur game, almost every week you hear of  of clubs folding and would imagine quite a few  will  not survive this shutdown.Whats your thoughts?

  6. Looking at our league i can’t see anything else’s that’s going to save it. Clubs have more than halved in 4/5 years and potentially looking at one league next year.

We’ve been discussing/texting as to how we would go about canvassing clubs for their opinions.
  7. That's a bizarre post.

It’s a question in relation to your use of the phrase “crayon munchers”,which is a derogatory reference to people with learning difficulties,in the future of the Juniors thread.Im sure you’ll remember it was pointed out to you that this was offensive.

    Pots,kettles etc.

  8. Having just had a look at the league table, and with it more or less at the halfway stage, you could narrow it down to four teams in with a shout of winning it.How many of those four would embrace a chance of promotion?.I remember Brora be pretty vocal in that they didn’t fancy stepping up to the SPFL.
