So the EOSL runs from the Tayside boundary line to the Tweed, but WOSL league would run from the Tayside boundary to just south of Kilmarnock?.
1 -
At what tier?
If the EOSL go with the same set up as this season,it would be tier 8.0 -
Just throwing it out there......would the EOS accept the ERJFA as a feeder league?.

Lol 2 weeks into the season, lets see what it is like in January
Probably much as it is just now.0 -
Toilet "blocks", we got two of them. One for the gents with an additional accessible WC on the side and one for the ladies.
We were only able to afford the £300k by moving to the land of milk and honey, cos everyone knows the only reason for doing that was the money. [emoji1787][emoji1787]
In all seriousness, everything going on is due entirely to the vision and hard work of the people at the helm, with support from local business and councillors who liked and bought into the vision presented.
It's taken the better part of 10 years graft to get the club to where it is, but the change, particularly in the last 12 months, has been phenomenal. Those guys deserve far more credit than they get (or seek) for what they've done (and continue to do) for the club.
Was the funding for the ground redevelopment dependant on joining a league affiliated to the pyramid?.0 -
Does England have a fixed line to separate North and south?.

I really wished the Colts approached Cumbernauld Utd with their funding and put 4G down guys Meadow. Tell NLC to p off. They wouldn't have to have folk in their own time selling tea and coffee from a table because of the council insistence in running the kiosks. That would be my preferred option.
I believe Guys Meadow is owned by NLC and leased by Hatrix.Utd and Rob Roy rent it from Hatrix0 -
If I was a betting man I would put money on the AGM passing with a few dissenting voices but nothing substantial to force the issue.
I think you'll find that some in the WRJFA want in but the vast majority articularly the lower league clubs couldn't really give a toss one way or another so if there was a vote I reckon that TJ will be told to act on the original mandate until the SFA tell him that it's not going to happen.
Then you MIGHT get some clubs breaking away to form a WOSL league because they dont want to wait indefinitely for things to progress.
Then you're left with a much reduced SJFA but still encompassing the 3 regions.
Then you're left with a WOSL with possible promotion to the LL but with no relegation unless they revert back to the remaining Junior Leagues.
I think it’s a certainty the SJFA will be told todeal with the regions as three separate issues. The compromise being the WRJFA joining the pyramid but still under the jurisdiction of the SJFA.
As you say,the majority of clubs couldn’t give a fek about joining the pyramid, how many clubs will ibe better off for it?.
The only incentive is the golden ticket of Scottish cup entry.0 -
Was the talk at the time that junior clubs who did leave for the new Lowland League were told that if they were relegated from the league they would need to apply to the sjfa and start at the bottom division again.
[/
As it stands where else would they go?..There’s no promotion/relegation between the LL and the WRJFA.If a West super league team had jumped ship teams would have been promoted in order to fill the top division.Obviously that won’t be the case if the West joins the pyramid.0 -
Eh,naw it's no.
Those clubs in the Western half of West Lothian(Blackburn excluded) have the same mentality as most of the West Juniors.
I take your point.I was talking from my experience a few seasons back while helping out at a ERJFA club for about 18 months.Coming from a WRJFA background I found it very different.0 -
It would probably stay at tier 6 and be a 3 way playoff similar to what we had in East this year
Would that not mean two overlapping leagues?.1 -
If say the WRSJFA clubs moved as a whole tomorrow, where does that leave the SOS league?.
Would they a stand alone league at level six or would the be integrated into the new WOS league?0 -
One thing I don’t think a lot of posters don’t realise is it’s a completely different mentality in the West Juniors to what’s in the East Juniors, present clubs or those who moved.

Pricey, I'd think all the clubs who either have floodlights or are close to being in a position (like Talbot) would apply. There would be others who wanted to take the punt much like others in the east. I'd be confident that there would be enough teams to make a league of a good quality in the West. As I've said before, if clubs do t want to move they don't have to. As a footnote you don't need lights to play in the wos league once it's formed, you only need it for a licence for Scottish or to play in the LL.
Same question again, out with the Juniors, which clubs would you suggest?.1 -
It's about time that the SFA stopped trying to appease dinosaur blazers in getting junior divisions across en masse and simply set up a West of Scotland and call for applications. There might be some interest from Junior clubs at the start, but even if there is not juniors are not in fact the only type of football club in west-central Scotland. Let teams in now who will actually aspire to building themselves up instead of waiting forever for clubs who are happy to preserve their own enclosed fiefdom indefinitely.
And in turn of course, any club that chooses to stay out of a WoS league should have their SFA license revoked and denied entry to the Scottish Cup. Fair is fair.
Out of interest,if there was no interest from any of WRJFA clubs, what clubs do you think could make up a WOS pyramid league?1 -
I'm surprised Pricey hasn't been on today asking if the league set up for next season has been finalised yet.
So this is your league set up from now on?.0 -
Nothing official so far. Depending on who's interpretation of the rules you believe.
The Lowland League is either now at 16 teams with Whitehill saved from relegation as there's no licensed Tier 6 champion and Selkirk's vacancy.
Or
The Lowland League is at 15 teams, Whitehill have been relegated and there's a vacancy to be filled.
Thanks0 -
Now that the playoff is by,I take it that will be the make up of the league complete for next season?.

4-1 Colville

What’s the format for promotion/relegation in the EOSL next season?.I take with a league of 16 it will be 4 down and 2 up from each of the Conferences.

In that scenario, neither Leith or Preston would make the EoS Premier. A relegated Whitehill would just take Linlithgow's spot in the EoS Premier.
With Berwick likely to be relegated, there isn't really a scenario at play that requires a 2nd best 6th placed side.
My bad,of course Whitehill would drop into the EOS.
From what I’ve read there was some debate about the interpretation of the LL’s rules on relegation.0 -
If the L.L insist on relegation,Whitehill Welfare, you will update expect them to be replaced by Linlithgow.I take it their place in the EOS would be taken by Leith or Preston?.

During the previous talks regarding the Juniors joining, was there ever any mention of a boundary between the EOS and the WRJFA leagues?.

Jeeeeezo,do we have finally established that two Junior clubs have applied fo a licence.
Thank you0

There was a ban of sorts introduced in the 80’s.Clubs were arranging league matches under the lights so suspended players would be available for Scottish cup ties.Dunipace had it a few times were teams would give up home advantage to play under the lights st Westfield
