  1. Dunipace are apparently in the same sort of spot that Cumnock are probably in. They have to get their application & £2k fee accepted by the SFA board first before the licensing process begins.

Last thing I saw on the Dunipace front is silence from the SFA.

Dunipace are not a Junior club, anything relating to will be in the EOS forum.

  2. The “backstop” in all of this must be the SJFA continue to exist as a separate body to cater for those clubs who want to remain Junior and out with the Pyramid.  Don’t force clubs to do what they don’t want to do.Except for Tayside clubs.

    Fixed that for you.

  3. What is gobsmacking to me is that the people at the very pinnacle of our game, who are there to look after it and take it forward, think their plan is acceptable and then think it's acceptable to try and force it on member leagues and clubs who think it's completely flawed.

Like forcing the Tayside clubs to join a league they don’t want to......
  4. What's the juniors pland.  Eosfl can't plan because of the juniors who can't decide what they are doing.  I'm certhinly glad your not on our committee now pricey or you'd have us upto dundee or in lower league with bathgate where as look how we have grown this season in eosfl. If it's that bad

Two weeks since you last posted on the Camelon thread, but you can’t keep out the Junior forum.
  5. I thought this forum was a junior forum about the last 20 posts have been about EOS LL and SPFL3

You beat me two it.The threads called “The future of the Juniors”,SJFA have at least a plan going forward, unlike the EOS.
For what it’s worth,it’s almost certain that the West Junior champ will play the East Junior champ, effectively giving the Juniors only one place in the Lowland league play offs
  6. The SPFL3 is still at the proposal stage. LL2 at working group stage. How team 16 is selected laregly hinges on whether bottom of the LL are relegated (not certain atm due to Selkirk withdrawing thus a 15 team league atm) & also if the SOS winner has a license or not.

    So.....
    1. Don’t know
    2. Don’t know
    3. Don’t know
    4. Don’t know
    5. Don’t know
  7. Quite a few pages to catch up on...so a couple of questions about next season to save me going through them....
Who will be team 16 in the EOSL first Division?.
What format will the remaining 23 clubs be playing in?.
Will there be a SPFL 3 next season?
Will there be a LL2 next season?.
If either or both these leagues happen, what tier will the EOSL be?
    Thanks in advance.

  8. The set-up below the Premier Division next season will be decided by the members based on how many clubs there are.

Chances are there will be further applicants from the East Juniors therefore once that is known and the promotion and relegation issues are decided, the structure will be decided.

It could be another season of Conferences to accomodate the new members, with the aim of forming an EoS First Division for 2020-21, or they may form a First Division for next season below the Premier and then maybe regional below that.

Hopefully we see more applications from West Lothian and Fife and we can move further towards full integration of clubs.

So with us almost halfway through the season, you don’t know the league structure that 26 teams will be playing in next season?.
  9. I'm interested in what happens at the end of this season as regards leagues A, B and C. I can't find any information relating to it on the EOSFL website which is otherwise a very good site compared to what it used to be. Can anyone enlighten me? I did start reading this thread but there's 34 pages and to be honest I got stuck on the very first post as I had no clue what PWG meant. I have heard that the top 5 in each of the 3 leagues will form 1 league of 15 next season and the remainder will go into a league below that, is that right? How is the champion decided? Will new teams still be able to apply to join the EOSFL next season?
    Thanks in advance

    They don’t know
  10. Only because you are looking to knock it. Spfl 3 is unlikely ll2 is possible but you just want to knock it. Imagine trying something different or have an idea totally ridiculous. I'm surprised you want a east super league not want to go back to Lothians Fife and tayside leagues

From what I’ve read on here,it’s the pyramid supporters that want to go back to Tayside league.
  11. Yes pricey, my personal choice would be to do that. I would have liked to have had a final contested between two good footballing sides, from a purely footballing perspective, given the circumstances. Feel free to disagree.

Are you not penalising Camelon by effectively replaying a match they won fair and square?.
  12. For me I like that the eos have made a massive decision, I'd have liked to have seen beaten semi finalists Broxburn put through and a final contested, but it shows that the association is clearly ready to implement its rules without bias.

So Broxburn should have been reinstated to play in a final.....against Camelon who had already beaten them in the previous round?.

  13. Bert started his career with local Juvenile side Dunipace Thistle.A Scottish cup win brought the attention of Falkirk FC where he spent only a season before being reinstated to Dunipace in 1944.During his seasons he built up a formidable fullback partnership with his great friend Wullie Westwater, who would go on and captain Kilsyth to their Scottish win in 1955.During Berts time the Pace made their only ever appearance in the final of the West of Scotland cup, sadly a 3-1 defeat to Clydebank.”In 1950 Bert made the move to Springburn,I remember him saying that it was the toss of a coin between the Peasey and Kilsyth for signature,Peasey edged by sending a taxi to collect him.Seven seasons followed at Petershill with the 1951 Scottish win being the highlight.I imagine you’ll have the details of his time at Petershill Park,I have it that he played in the first three rounds of your Scottish win in 1956,I believe he missed the second half of the season through injury. In 1957 Bert moved to Rob Roy as player coach though only lasted a season.I can fill you in about his career post Rob Roy if you need it.

  14. The outside wall of our stadium has the sign "Rutherglen Glencairn Junior Football Club", however I don't think "Junior" is officially part of the club's name.
It's certainly not on any of our letterhead paperwork or our club badge.

Similar case with Dunipace.Having researched a bit into there history,Juniors doesn’t appear in their name until the early 70’s.

I believe Camelon intend to keep Junior in their name, even after their move.
  15. Barring something unexpected happening, the top 5 clubs from each Conference will form the Premier Division in 2019/20.  The situation is not yet decided as to whom the 16th club will be, Possibly Clydebank ?  Not yet decided/announced.

Surely an additions for season 19/20 would go into what I would take to be one of two regional leagues below the Premier?.
