Yes your company newsletter is exactly the same as a football club announcing a player who previously wasn't allowed to play football with zero explanation of how it's going to work to their supporters and the media. That's twice now you've just made something up and not actually replied to the post quoted. First time the last poster said it would be appreciated if the club clarified the situation which led you off to talk about the club not having any obligation to tell us anything when no one said they did and now I 'care so much' because I said it would be nice of the club to explain the situation. Very odd behaviour.

No one is claiming the club are obliged to tell us anything. I doubt your employer announce you've signed a contract on their website with a photo of you in your work gear telling everyone how long your contract is for so I'm not sure what relevance comparing your standard employee to a football player has.

As much as that is true when you consider Coulibaly's situation then a bit more of an explanation from the club rather than the standard 'subject to international clearance' would've been nice and allowed us to have avoided utter bores invading the thread to tell us what we already knew about his situation.

I've seen this 3rd division in Croatia stuff on here and elsewhere. I know none of the mentalists who are convinced we've waited due to the English window closing aren't on here but I can't get my head around their logic. English teams can still loan players so we've no advantage there, they can still sign free agents so we've no advantage there and we've no money so we aren't paying a fee so no advantage there. Are they just hoping players who missed out on a big move are just handed over to Thistle for free?
