  1. Good to see Adam Ashe back, too.
  2. I got a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones "free" with my last phone and had no problems at all at the gym, either on the weights or doing cv
  3. I can remember a few years back France did the Grand Slam and someone pointed out that England would have been champions if there was a BP system in place. That was just wrong in my view, so it's good to see they've tried to make sure that can't happen.
  4. Aye, got that yesterday, when it rebooted it had more apps on the home pages than before but still not all of them... Bluetooth music seems a bit more resilient this time around, was always a bit odd because the phone connection was fine. Tried a different music player, too, but it wasn't any different.
  5. I'm finding that some apps won't work on my Umi Super after they've been updated unless you reboot the phone - Facebook, Messenger, Netflix, Amazon Music recently. No big deal, just a bit of a pain because it doesn't remember all the shortcuts when it starts up again and you have to replace them - if you can remember what went where! Also having problems with the Bluetooth connection to my car, it keeps losing the music and I have to re-pair. Again, no big deal, just a bit of a pain.
  6. It was only clearly wrong with the benefit of a replay. I thought it was a penalty until I saw the replay but the ref couldn't call for one for that offence. The 4th official, however, could have called for one for the late tackle on Hogg immediately preceding it but told Joubert there was nothing in it, that's the man who should be called to account.
  7. Available 18 October on Amazon - if you mean the XZ!
  8. Bought an Umi Super at the weekend, first impressions are that it's some piece of kit for the price. Build quality seems top notch, as good as the HTC One M7 I used to have, and almost stock android, no bloatware to speak of. Battery life seems a bit disappointing considering the size of the battery but it's early days and still a bit of a novelty so getting used quite heavily. The charger that came with it is disappointing , think I'd have preferred the EU charger to use with an adapter rather than the low powered UK charger they provide. And whilst the USB Type C is a good idea, I need another two or three cables to replace those in chargers at home, the car and work. My laptop didn't acknowledge the phone when I plugged it in (although it did charge the phone, albeit very slowly) and after I copied music onto my new sd card the phone didn't like the format so reformatted the card and erased the content. When I put the card back into the laptop it gave me the same message so I ended up sending music to the phone via Airdroid.
  9. I played on the existing artificial pitch at Scotstoun a few years back and was amazed that it took a stud for scrums and didn't hurt a bit when you hit it with bare skin. Like that's ever going to be a problem...
  10. This is the only one according to the website. Might change nearer the time, I suppose.
  11. Warriors game v Harlequins live on YouTube channel on Saturday http://www.glasgowwarriors.org/news/16/08/15/harlequins-game-be-shown-exclusively-live-warriors-tv
  12. We missed the train so were late getting through and then had to walk around the stadium to get to our seats in the North end of the West stand. The mate's missus phoned as we came through the turnstiles, 0-7. Phoned again as we got about halfway round, 0-14. Phoned again as we were climbing the staircase, 0-21, at which point I thought it was a wind-up. Into the stadium and, no, that's the score right enough... Didn't leave early, Scotland won the game we saw by 17-16!
  13. Ulster could do us a favour and beat Leinster. If they do, and we beat Zebre & Connaught, we'll finish top. A bonus point win against Zebre means Ulster can't catch us.
  14. If that's the case then the argument's won, it's a separate language. The example I like to use is the Norwegian word for vacuum cleaner - not Hoover, it's (pronounced) stoorsooker. Makes perfect sense to me, and to most Scots.
  15. You should've gone to the Clubhouse for the Curry and Pint deal. Tables and cutlery (albeit plastic) provided.

  17. Title misheard as: There Must Be A Ninja
  18. So who is the Chinese (?) waitress working for? I know he said KGB or China at one point but why did she show up in his room, is this something to be expanded on later?
  19. 6,800 tickets sold, SMP holds 8,500. Capacity's not a problem.
  20. St Mirren Park isn't being used this weekend (and hasn't been all season some would argue, but that's for a different thread...). Just the right size and easy enough to get to for all.
  21. Have a look at the setlists from the gigs he's played so far on this tour, looks like he comes on and does 6 or so solo acoustic numbers before the Nelson boys join him for the Monsanto Years stuff. Even then, there's loads of non-Horse stuff e.g. a couple of songs from both Harvest and Harvest Moon. Just hope he lives long enough to make it over!
  22. He persists in posting on BAWA. You know, the forum for fans of the team he doesn't support.
