The only way we'd be signing Humphrey, is if he could prove that the injuries associated with his ankle have cleared up. Sadly for him, based on his most recent career, it would seem unlikely that this will be the case.. -

i wouldnt be overly concerned about him. he will perform consistently at about 6/10 all season. not great but enough. how about stephen? seems his career has fizzled out since he left dens seeking a "big" move. also a boy i rated Stephen McGinn has been nothing short of magnificent for us. -

Exactly. These are players who are adapting to a step up in the level of football that they're used to playing. There's no way on earth that Stubbs' squad on the first day of the season is going to include any more that a couple of these players at most. The likes of Cooke, Heaton and Kellerman will take time to adjust. Sadly, it looks like many of our fans simply don't have the patience for this. Maybe if we do make some more "established" signings the abject panic will subside somewhat. -

Our chances of survival in the premiership would be greatly improved by the money we will receive, as it would allow us to make up some the financial shortfall we have compared to our competition. We would survive as a club without it though, as we're pretty well run in terms of finance. -

Mikey Johnstone would be an excellent loan signing for us. Couldn't give a f**k whether he's classed as a "marquee" signing or not. -

Sigh! Seems that many others find your comment overly critical too. Since you can't find it within yourself to admit your error of judgement, which says more about you than me, then here's what you should have posted: "O.K. It seems I was a bit hasty on Kellerman based on his nine minutes on the pitch. I'll make a more informed opinion of him when he starts a game and gets a significant amount of game time." There that was easy. -

As DJ says, why not give him more than nine minutes before posting a negative comment on his abilities? -

Kellerman? He was on the pitch for all of nine minutes FFS. Give it a rest. -

If this was happening on the day of the start of the season, I'd agree with you. However, it isn't. Stubbs has stated from the start that some of his signings may take a bit longer than we'd like, but he seems to have set plan in place to get the players that he wants. I'm not fussed at all by the likes of Hippolyte leaving, as it's a cert he'll be replaced by a player that Stubbs rates more highly. -

Stevie Clarke was born in Saltcoats. We signed him from Beith juniors. As for supporting Kilmarnock................ they were his "wee" team. -

Other than a couple of late appearances from the bench he didn't play for us. Probably better asking East Fife and Annan fans, as he was on loan to them for a considerable amount of time. -

I suggest you put your spade aside. Unless of course you were in the room when the details of the contract were agreed. [emoji4] -
To be fair, it's the first one these percentage deals that we've actually made some money from. Hibs have done a great job in further developing McGinn,so you're due credit for that.

Who knows why? It's hardly an unusual scenario though.

A big move for him regarding, both on the playing side and his personal circumstances. A big upheaval moving from Scotland to the south west of England, with a newly born child. Hope it works out for him. -
