  1. Maybe a question for the hustings?
  2. If your life doesn’t happen on social media, does it happen at all?
  3. You’ve a real bee in your bonnet about those pesky incels. Is Incelphobia a thing?
  4. The majority of what? How many of the electorate are heavily into politics? That majority will just think she’s a nice enough wee lassie.
  5. Good news for Kate. That’s two demographics she’s captured.
  6. On Kate Forbes, all I can remember about her is that she looked young and struggled to walk in high heels. I’m assuming she is small and some stylist wanted to make her look bigger. That could be a big assumption, but going by Sturgeon’s various looks I’m assuming she had a stylist. I’m not religious but the fact that she’s churchy likely isn’t the kryptonite it is to some folk on here. I’m assuming Humza was religious and that didn’t seem to bother folk on here. Religious types are one of the minority groups who find the time to get involved with politics.
  7. Maybe she’ll appeal to the 18-30 young white men who the hate monster is worried about?
  8. Did you see the photo of the 6 likely candidates that the BBC News came up with. Three reasonably attractive women and three bald men. If it’s a man, he’ll be bald.
  9. I don’t imagine the last few years have helped the cause of independence much. Maybe 2015 was a high-water mark for the independence movement. I’ll be interested to see if ‘Yes’ will ever manage to get more than 50% of the pensioner vote. It’s a key vote given they are more likely to vote and people are supposedly living longer, but it’s a time of life where a lot of people are likely thinking ‘I don’t need this grief.’ On the Under 25s vote, if that’s not a strong ‘Yes’, then thoughts of independence are done for the time being. It’s not really a surprise as the benefits of independence have hardly been mentioned by the SNP for 10 years. Maybe because it doesn’t fit with the climate change thing, and because they haven’t decided what their key message is now that oil and gas are not to be mentioned.
  10. I agree the SNP are a leftie shambles, even worse with the Greens involved. Will there actually be an election or will we just get the likes of Swinney for the next couple of years? If not the SNP, which party is best equipped to run the country?
  11. He should do another dance to get people listening to him. Might not feed into his argument there about serious leadership, but it’s the only thing I can remember him doing.
  12. Give it Swinnsy getting mentioned on TV there. Not very inspiring stuff. Two more years of treading water with a grey wee man who the SNP got bored with last time he was leader. Yawn. Do they have to wait until 2026 for the next Holyrood election to blow away the cobwebs?
  13. Genital inspectors won’t get enough seats, so your choices are way-past-their-sell-by-date SNP propped up by some other losers (possibly genital inspectors) or those beloved Yoons. Whether you vote or don’t vote, those are the choices.
  14. Give the Unionist, Butcher’s Apron flying, bootlicking cuck scum a chance at running things?
  15. Is this the official Lib-Dem thread? Who does the comedy photos at election time now that Willie Rennie has packed it in? Did that laptop from the Tweet above ever surface?
  16. This game is the deadest of dead rubbers. The only question I have is for Arbroath fans. If the Dick had stayed do you think things would have played out any differently?
  17. Might as well start a thread. Arbroath’s last game in the Championship before heading back to League One. For us it’s the last game before the play-offs. Another dull draw or will there be some goals?
  18. I thought it was Alpa? Or is it Alapa? More Scottish folk care about football than politics. Politics is the refuge of the oddballs in our society. Maybe if they got some ex-footballers to stand as candidates that would work? Failing that get some reality stars in. Doesn’t everyone love a sleepy cuddle ? No…
  19. To do anything in this tournament we’ll need Tierney, Hickey, Robertson, McGinn and McTominay to be fit for the games. Ideally the same starting line up we had against Spain.
  20. I’d be happy if we won one game. We haven’t won a game at a tournament since 1996 against Switzerland. Maybe that’s fate.
  21. That would certainly be the funniest outcome.
  22. Seems a bit off. Look at that shitey ground Edinburgh City have. Is Buckie Thistle worse than that?
  23. I’ll give Humza this, he’s good at reading out a statement. I’ve come to believe that politicians only really need to be good public speakers to get on. In fact, not just politicians, that’s how society works. You could be a useless c**t but as long as you can speak well in public you are sorted.
  24. I’m glad Humza has punted the Greens. The Greens used to be the cuddly List voting choice of many SNP voters. I can see that changing after seeing their brief time in power.
