City are playing in League one but in reality ran like an East of Scotland league club this season and it's a real shame! 😔

The few people that help the club deserve tremendous credit 👏 but we just don't have enough people or fans around to sustain League one, or maybe even league two soon football.

Without attracting a big money man soon, I think the future looks dire for City.

Even they don’t want to merge you should still think seriously about continuing hosting games at Meadowbank as terrible venue for watching football.

You merge with East Stirling and Stenny ? Us with QOS and Gretna no bother !!!!!!!

Be more interesting to hear what an EC fan feels although there would be a lot of commercial sense in the three border clubs coming together. I sense that the name  Galloway united has a wee ring to it.

Glad to see the monkey is off my back & joined up with the Bairns - you’ve made the right decision bro 🙌

Noticed this on BBC website this morning.
Not sure if he is the same build as his dad but could be the like for like replacement we need for McKeever 🤔

Hearts are considering a loan move for striker Makenzie Kirk, with the 17-year-old on 22 goals for the B team in the Lowland League. (Scotsman)

He’s also 19 just now according to his Wikipedia page, 20 in February.

With big John’s jambo connections maybe an option?

Could be a very important day today in the title race.

Personally I think it's great that we have a chance to get ahead of you, and that then adds pressure to Falkirk both on the 16th and the fact that your game in hand is against Cove (though who knows what they will look like come Spring).

The idea of being 8 points clear by 5pm on the 16th is both appealing and not entirely unrealistic now, but we need to take care of our business first and foremost.

As a spectacle, however, I think it's a bit of a shame today's games aren't going to be played at the same time.

So after 19 games unbeaten we are going to lose to Kelty at home next week the you lot the week after. As Kenny might say….maybees aye maybees nah.

Also big assumption that your lot are going to win three in a row…..😒🤔

Forecast is below freezing and light snow till lunchtime, then pretty much zero degrees and no snow all afternoon. Not sure if that little tractor they rake the rubber pellets with is any good at clearing snow and ice?

What about the carload of fans travelling down from Aberdeen? I think the ref will need to take them into consideration 🤔😏

This is bonkers by the way, you have lost 1 league game all season. I thought our fans were knicker wetters! Hamilton and Rankin on the face of it seem to be doing a decent job of getting promoted to be honest. Obviously the proof will be at seasons end however

Rankin must be given a 5 year contract asap.

He is the man to take Accies back to where they belong………🤔

Yes, 1400 at Towhead Park, Cumnock. I'll probably be at it. Tony Begg is kind enough to copy me into the games schedule email every week.

The club will likely put out a "games this weekend" graphic in the next day or so. 16s and 18s are at home to Elgin on Sunday and I'll be with the girls in Dumfries when they play QOTS.

    👍

A very considered analysis and I think you've highlighted all the main issues. In the cold light of day (after my punching a door and storming out on Saturday!) I have to admit the team did look better and more cohesive. Not sure if Raith were just having an off day or we made them look bad, but performances are improving. I just wish they would get on and develop Lesser, a nice 2000 capacity stadium even if we are stuck in the Championship for two more years. Sick of Hampden now, cold, empty, leaky and that urine stank (urgh)

Serious question re your final sentence……do you believe you will be in the top division in next five years?
