  1. I was thinking this too but with Andre Ward.......but he's stepped up a division himself now.
  2. That'll never change. Look at how some people were critical of Calzaghe throughout his career! That said, I'd love to see how GGG would deal with stepping up to SMW!
  3. Thought it was a good effort by Brook but GGG is in a different league. Not sure where GGG has left to go in the MW division now given that Canelo and BJS won't go near him. Could he afford to fight so square on if he stepped up a weight to SMW?
  4. Just listened to the "does Scottish football need the Old Firm" Podcast......Fucking hell! where to even begin with that pish. Tom English was the only one remotely objective in the discussion. If Scotlands National game depends upon a rivalry built on Religious intolerance what does that say about Scottish society in 2016? Tragic.
  5. Decent website for those interested in Scottish stadiums: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/leagues/scottish-spl-premier-and-football-league-clubs.html
  6. How did we go from Sports Journalists like Hugh McIlvanney and Ian Archer to dross like Jim Traynor and the like?
  7. If Celtic or Rangers/Sevco were playing ISIS I'd be cheering on Allah's 11....
  8. Davie, The reason other Clubs fans don't wish Celtic well in the UCL is because the £20-30m they receive for qualifying further desbilises our domestic league. Celtic not qualifying the last few years has pulled them back to the rest of the pack and made for a tighter league. Were you cheering Rangers on in Europe in the late 90's during their 9IAR?
  9. if Davie had his way we would all be showering Celtic in gratitude for being the saviours of all of Scottish football
  10. Does this mean you're finally available to meet Addie and Bobby Skidmarks for a Saturday sesh then?!
  11. I always felt Brad needed to be playing regularly alongside an experienced centre half that will talk him through the game. He never got that at Hearts due to our Administration event and hasn't been able to force his way into the Saints team unfortunately. Shame as I think he'd be a decent player at Premiership level.......eventually.
  12. A Scottish League match between Third Lanark & Hibs? 135,000? The re-entry of the Home Nations into FIFA in 1947 was marked by a match between a Great Britain and a Rest of Europe select on 10 May 1947.[26] Great Britain won 6–1 and 130,000 people attended.[26]Unusually, a league match between Third Lanark and Hibernian was played immediately afterwards at Hampden because Cathkin Park was undergoing repair work.[
  13. I think Hearts had similar plans in the inter-war years to built a 100,000 capacity stadium too.
