The Hearts result was a bit of a freak, the Abada goal is allowed to stand and the game and outcome changes but these things happen in football and tend to balance themselves out just like what happened the other week when we played at Celtic Park so all good on that score. The only result that really disappointed me so far was the draw to Dundee United at home, we should never have dropped points in that game

Europe was never going to be the barometer however In what way were humiliated in a group with the 3rd best teams at the time from La Liga and Bundesliga? Didn’t we also manage to amass more points also than any other Scottish team despite having a significantly harder group? Seems as if that’s an improvement on us finishing last the season prior and it was certainly much better to watch. It’s not the only thing that matters, it’s not an end of days scenario if we don’t win the league this year however we win tomorrow it’s back to only 4 points and there is no reason at all we won’t beat Rangers on the 2nd if it goes ahead. And what has he turned around? The squad whilst making a net profit, the mentality, the feeling amongst fans and some success. Did we ever at any point last season look capable of winning any trophy? Yet here we are 1 for 1 and 2 still very much possible. He’s done in his 1st attempt what the person he was being compared to across the city couldn’t do in 7 and win a major domestic cup which gives cause for optimism. You thought he would be gone by now, Celtics Caixinha, a Scottish Championship level manager, a fucking binman. You may need to accept you might have gotten this one wrong however you are much to staunch to admit that However come May we will see who is right

Celtic and 9 other clubs (including yours) asking for the winter break to be implemented to avoid the crowd restrictions or the the fact the SPFL have binned your request to postpone tomorrows game which really has f**k all to do with Celtic? Celtic had a pretty poor set of financials and playing games with a 500 limit effectively costs more than if you played behind closed doors. Every single decision made by every club is in their own self interests but we have a ready made circuit breaker in place due to start in a couple of weeks so it makes sense to act on it now as it serves most clubs best interests and the fans. Like you I pay for my season ticket and I want to be in attendance for a massive game that I’ve already paid for, if it doesn’t work then we are fucked however we will be more fucked if we do nothing and just wait and see what happens It’s not as if bringing the winter break forward doesn’t suit St Mirren does it?

If St Mirren genuinely don't have enough 1st team players due to an outbreak then surely you can expect more positives tomorrow forcing the leagues hand? Seems pointless to waste everyones time and i guess put people at risk of getting Covid

Mate i don't disagree with you, if vaccine passports were the solution to allow us to attend then why isn't more being done to check them? Even my kids are all fully vaccinated (granted one has Cerebral Palsy and gets his before us) to ensure we can get to go the football together which didnt always go down too well Unless there is some sort of financial safety net for clubs and this goes on as expected i can't see every club surviving this time around

Vaccine passports are useless as they are never checked. I've yet to be asked for proof of vaccination at any event that has apparently got them in place.

Looks like there will be no Rangers fans inside Celtic Park after all. In all seriousness though agree with @G51 the most likely scenario is that we end up playing out most of the season with limited or no capacity so postponing fixtures is only going to end up with us playing league games into June or beyond

I wouldn’t mind seeing him or Rocco Vata brought into the squad for tomorrow we have so few options in attack just now it would be good to see a couple of these boys and see what they are all about
