In comparison to who?  The Celtc loanee sent off last week or your shan new captain? ;)

Quite like Scales to be honest. Stewart is a unit who isn’t the cleverest on the ball. What’s most important is they work as a pair, time will tell.

The donkey comment was in jest, don’t pay attention that much to opponents unless they really stand out.

It’s 5 years on since he was Cowden manager, far more experienced in coaching and management since then.

He was probably far too young and inexperienced to be a manager back then.

I can remember a young manager getting sacked after 4 months or so , his name Dick Campbell who has done not bad since then.

    You may be right.

Personally, I don’t like him. He was standing up the back of the terrace 2/3 years ago , presumably to scout on loan players in the game. He was sniggering away like a wee gimp to his mates at a few of the Cowden fans going tonto at the ref/opposition. A swift warning and a few stares later he kept himself to himself. Ironic as he was a car crash at Cowden and thinks he can come to central and laugh at the locals.

Definite cheap options at the DABS as they have severely overspent. I hope he’s sacked by the spring.

  3. Goodwins comments are spot on. It is a form of cheating, he’s won a penalty and got a man sent off with the way he has manipulated his marker to con the ref when he goes down.

Its about the only thing Goodwin got right all day though.

2 players suspended for the next game now and 2 injured. No real form yet is a bigger concern.

Del will be planning his 1-0 victory as we speak.

  4. Right, where do we start?

Hibs dominated for 99% of that match. Was horrible to watch.

Have seen slow mo of the penalty incident and both players have an arm around each other. Would like to think the ref says get up and get on with the game but if you let a team dictate and continually get in your box regularly then something will go against you.

Thought Goodwin has had a mare today. All the weaknesses exposed. His stubbornness to stick with 4-2-3-1 has been the teams downfall today. McCrorie hopeless in possession (we knew that already) Vinny doesn’t do anywhere near enough on or off the ball ( we knew that already, it’s not Stirling Albion anymore), Richardsons had a shocker, and Miovski has contributed zip.
Taking off Duk was criminal unless he was injured.

Taking off Coulson was criminal unless he was injured( I think he may have been)

midfield was completely over run all game. If we are saying after 20 mins we ain’t winning this game then I would live to know why Jim fuckin Goodwin is getting paid a small fortune to not realise this and blindly stick with his wee team of pussies.

Said after 20 mins, without Clarkson and Barron, put McKenzie on and push the fullbacks up to a 3-5-2 and tuck Hayes inside. He will give you a performance in any position. Get Vinny off. He would rather stick though as he has his favourites and his 1 and only formation. . Not amazing team but a change of shape to stem the tide as we were roasted all game- fact.

Regardless of the ref Hibs deserved the win , no complaints at all about that.

Trousered his wages every week, gets us relegated from the SPFL and then gives the Cowden fans the GIRUY.

    Top pro 😂

    Correct

donkey of player and from dressing room stuff I’ve heard he’s a helmet to go with it.

I’d never agree with that, you don’t know a player’s circumstances in one game, he could only be 80% fit, anything could be going on. Definitely agree to disagree on that point 😬

    😳

control, movement , general play and distribution or even technique is evident if the player is pissed or having a worldly bud

I don’t think he’s had nearly enough of a consistent run in the team, to come to any conclusions, just my opinion.

Only started two games I think, and the games he has come off the bench, from memory, were mostly pretty close to the end of the game.

He hammered that goal into the net against Celtic very nicely. That being said, we seem to have good options up front now, so will struggle to get much more time on the pitch.

Only need 1 game to see if someone has the basics

Cheers, was wondering why he hadnt featured recently, he hasnt looked quite up to pace, in the games ive being at but also hasnt started the games, least we have quite a few options upfront now.

To be honest , Chris Aikinhemze isn’t very good at football, which is a shame as he has a burst of pace that could be very useful.
