  1. I'm only keeping this on to see if Ronnie turns up to an interview to say everyone else is actually shite and he's the best and it was the pitch (hiya Brendan) etc etc.

  2. Is Ronnie getting battered here?

Just got in the door and switched the telly on to see Selby 5-0 up.

*Disclaimer - I've been at the pub and may be watching a historical replay...

Time for a change of pace where we give you the fans a say. (actually pre arranged and pre scripted) so hardly giving "the fans" a say at all.

For me it's the most pointless section of the whole show which is saying a lot given the criticism the current format rightly comes in for.

The national radio channel should be doing a whole lot better.

Absolutely. And from what I heard driving home, the manager interviews from the game at Rugby Park weren't aired at all in favour of some nugget from Aberdeen repeatedly saying 'but he won't use the squad' in an irritating accent.

I might be biased as a Killie fan, but surely those interviews were guaranteed to be box office, given what happened after the 90th minute of the game, not to mention the relationship between McInnes and Docherty, who seemed to be exchanging taunts on the touchline as each goal went in.

Instead I had to listen to what felt like an hour of discussion on the technical mechanism to come to a correct decision in the old firm game which was as dull as a concrete bell.

I get why the BBC prioritise Rangers and Celtic discussion with the vast majority of their listenership being 'supporters' of those two clubs, but surely even those fans are deeply bored with this nugatory patter? Maybe not.

Ill get pelters for this, again, but i think he struggles to be a standout much higher than a mid/upper level club in this division. Being a standout for a Killie side chasing the top half/Europe is the perfect level for him to both be comfortable and a star player, and if/when he chases the cash and pushes for a move probably down South he'll get lost amongst better team mates and never show his real quality again.

As an example I see Rangers fans on Twitter wanting them to sign him (and Watson) today, and i think he'd be nothing more than a Scott Wright figure at best.

We had similar with Matty Kennedy funnily. Key player for us, absolute standout, then goes to Aberdeen and sees less of the ball and cant replicate the output.

I think that's slightly harsh on Armstrong given his goal involvement stats which are surely best in the league (?).

I don't know how far he can go. He's 26 now and has only come on to this form relatively recently in relation to his overall career. It's not a purple patch by any means, so perhaps he's a late bloomer and will continue to improve to the point that he can be playing English Championship or Premier level, who knows.

£5m is wishful thinking, given our transfer record is £1.9m for Naismith, but he's surely worth £1m+ to us potentially in terms of prize money etc. if he stays to the end of his contract, so I wouldn't entertain offers below about £1.2m.

Two MASSIVE games where 12th place Celtic host 14th placed Fulham, while Rangers, who are 15th travel to Brentford. Absolutely sensational. Oh, and an Edinburgh Derby, Dunfermline v Raith Rovers and Dundee Utd v Aberdeen too - full details on the website. But first, it's over to Packie Bonner at Celtic Park.

    Cup weekend?

Of course you can, if you are someone that thinks a 10% increase followed by a 10% decrease leaves you with the same amount.

The very same post called someone else a 'moron'.

What is it the youngsters call this these days? Self-owning or something similar?

Dreadful performance from Scotland and a wake up call for several players. It also shows the limos Clarke as a coach. Set up the team wrong, failed to change or adjust formation and substitions made far too late. Plays his favourites as well before giving others a fair crack of the whip.Mctominay isn't a forward despite the goals he scores and was totally wasted tonight. Lone striker totally isolated at all times and so obviously wasn't working.  That Clarke was out maneuvered tactically by Southgate says it all  really.

What does it say? Genuine question, I'm not really sure what you're getting at.

We've just watched the next European and very probably world champions here tonight and it isn't us. Didn't have kick all game. Only scored from and own goal. It could have been anything.

We'll qualify for the Euros and maybe make it out the groups but England are a million miles clear of us and of most other teams.

    😂 what?

  9. I have absolutely no problem with 'granny qualifiers' at all, but the timing here stinks a bit. If he had decided he was Scottish this time last year, I would have no problem welcoming him with open arms. Now that we're a shoo in for the Euros and he's coincidentally not getting anywhere near the England squad... not so much.
