At least on PnB it hard to find anyone who wants Yousaf to win, is there many? Howabout Regan any for her?

could the membership throw s curveball and Regan gets in? Over a 100k members and some might not even vote.

It was a foolish man that followed Alex Ferguson at Man Utd and so it will be with Nicola and the SNP. A safe pair of hands is the best they can do here and then see what talent is able and willing at the next election, Westminster group included.

I don't make much of Yousaf, but he's the clear winner now among the bunch, surely.

Finding a way of swerving around answering gotcha yes or no questions that require nuance and time not available in an interview format should be the first thing any politician learns. She wouldn't last 5 minutes in FMQs, far less an Andrew Neil interview, on topics that she's had a lot less time to prepare for.

Absolutely. Leaving her faith and backwards views at the door, she demonstrated that she's wholly unfit for the position by getting sucked into a hypothetical question, from a relatively toothless journalist, about an issue that was relevant before she was even an MSP, and managed to spectacularly own herself by giving an answer which is both contrary to her own party's policy, and public opinion in general.

It was a very simple tap-in for her to skate around the question and get the point across that her mind is on furthering the party aims and commitments, but she somehow managed to boot the ball up the other end of the park into her own net.

I honestly think that Liz Truss would have handled that better if she was in the same position, and she's a congenital moron.

  3. Disaster for Forbes.

Imagine getting drawn into that hypothetical equal marriage question, naivety off the scale.

All she had to do was not give a straight answer, waffle about some minor technicality of the bill, and then use the opportunity to confirm that she would use her position as first minister to further the aims and policies of the SNP ahead of her own personal views.

In what may come as a surprise, I also kind of think it would be hard for anyone to spit down in this situation.

During our semi v The Dons, the first 3 or 4 rows of the South Stand Upper were cordoned off with stewards spaced along it (presumably to avoid situations such as this). I am assuming it would’ve been the same on Saturday.

So, it probably could be possible, but as mentioned, it would take one almighty grog to spit over the 3 or 4 row gap, the walkway and then down to the opposition fans. And the only way someone in the lower would physically be able to see someone spitting would be if they had broken through the cordon and were hanging over the edge of the stand (which again, could be possible).

I don't know if there was a cordon there or not, but the guy was hanging over the edge when he did it, directly above the Killie fans.

Because you're an attention seeking rocket raging at the result so looking for online high fives on here to alieve your disappointment.

Given the distance from the top tier of the South Stand to the lower you would need the neck muscles of a giraffe to projectile some spit onto someone below, even moreso given the wind and the rain which was of biblical proportions on Saturday night.

It's a fucking whopper of a story but you got a few green dots for it so job done I guess 😂

    Alieve? 😂 Moron.

If you had ever actually been in section P3 you would know that the upper section is directly above.

I know that because I saw a soap shy manky b*****d spitting from there into our fans on Saturday.

It's no wonder everyone thinks your fans are scum.

No they weren't, your made up shite will suit the narrative you want to give and win you a few online high fives though.

😂 What? Why on earth would I make something like that up?

The really sad thing is that it's not the first time I've been spat at by Celtic fans either.

That's absolutely vile (Killie fans do need a wash etc etc), I've no desire for football audiences to turn into sterile boring rugby audiences but why tf would you bring your kids to that sort of environment?

Aye agreed. Totally unnecessary as well. Hate to think what would have been coming down if we had won 2-0.

  8. Well this thread got interesting*.

Getting away from Kyle Lafferty's clear anti-catholic statement expressed via the medium of football boot colour, I thought Killie were very unfortunate there. Generally limited Celtic to half chances and denied what looked like a stonewall penalty to me at the time.

We're good enough to stay up I think. Since the second half comeback against Motherwell we've shown a certain grit that seemed to be missing before. One or two quality signings to push us up the table a bit would be great and then strengthen again in the summer.

We would 100% have done the same.

    And probably lost

I agree that we would have gone into a similar low block system without the ball and looked for the odd break, but I'd like to think the time wasting from the 11th minute, play acting, and refusal to leave the park when being subbed would be beneath us. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't recall Killie descending to that level against superior opposition.

It was very much like playing Hamilton back in the day. Just a team that wanted to kill any chance of football being played.

Jinkies this thread has more action in it than the game did.

Erhahon's red is a red, even despite it being soft. He might have gotten away with it if it had happened the other side of the pitch, but it was literally a handful of yards from the referee who, if you look at the replays, was looking in the direction of the pair. Did McKenzie provoke him? Yeah, but the retaliation was nothing short of petulance and clearly lost us 2 points.

Erhahon has bulked up and become more aggressive in his play over the last 18 months, and that's a good thing - he needed to and fans wanted him to, sadly though his inexperience on when to use that physicality has not progressed at the same rate. There is every chance he will be away in the window and I am not entirely disappointed with that, cashing in on him now seems like the most sensible solution for all parties.

As for the game, it's as clear as clear can be that if we had kept 11 players on the park, we'd have won that game at a canter. Killie hardly made a dent with the man advantage and other than one good header late on, Carson could have a deckchair out and taken a break for large parts of the game.

All in all, I'll take the draw, we were not going to get beaten by this lot even taking into consideration our dreadful away form, and while Erhahon costing us a couple of points, the result sees us 6 points, 2 games and 12 goals ahead of Killie which, judging by the two teams I saw out there yesterday, is a divide I can only presume growing considerably come the end of the season. Who knows, Killie might even avoid the relegation playoff which would have to be seen as a major success for McInnes.

I like Killie, it has to be said, an established club playing at a classic old school stadium, with a decent enough following to make home and away games against them entertaining. I just wish they'd remove the red hand of ulster from their badge, a bit staunch really, and fine if that's cool with their fans then fair enough, but out dated religious imagery isn't a good look.

This is clearly a fishing trip so I won't spend much effort in debate, bit just wanted to enquire what the red hand of Ulster chat is about - do you genuinely believe that is what is shown?

Again, where was this over the top time-wasting? We ran the clock down on last 15 mins but no more or less than any other club seeing out time.

Indeed, we were so bad we had one man booked for time-wasting for hesitating at a shy. Our keeper hardly dilly-dallied and the only actually stoppage that you could think that our player might have been a bit cute was Kiltie.

If anything, the officials wasted more time than we did. We had two players kitted out for a double sub (and it WAS a double sub - we wouldn't have had another instance available yo break it into two subs) but the 4th official fucked that up after letting Shuaghnessy go on, was seemingly intent on not letting Grieve on. The Killie fans went off at St. Mirren for that but it was a genuine f**k up from the officials and wasted plenty of time.

Did you watch it? The time wasting started at throw ins from minute 10. Several instances of St Mirren players going down faking head injuries, Curtis Main refusing to go off when substituted etc - it was fairly rife from where I was sitting.

The onus is on Killie to break anti-football teams like that down obviously, we saw plenty of that style in the championship last season, so it's unfortunate we weren't able to find the goals despite being in total control for much of the game.

  12. Disappointing not to make anything of the man advantage, far too slow in getting forward, and some poor individual performances from us coupled with a lack of quality up front makes me think we could still be playing now without scoring.

The time wasting and play acting from St Mirren was equally disappointing and it certainly takes the shine off an impressive defensive effort for nigh on 90mins with 10 men.

  13. This may have been discussed before (is it just me that can't seem to get any use from the search function?), but I recently acquired a Ninja Foodi 14in1 multi cooker contraption.

Been using the pressure cooker function for brisket chilli, stews etc, the dehydrate function for jerky, the air fryer for steaks, roast potatoes, roast beef/chicken etc.

Anybody have any more tips to get the most out of it?
