  1. I only saw most of the second half, Toshney seemed to be going for it though. Surprising, given what the Falkirk fans had to say about him. Toshnet turned out a decent shift but I'll give him a few more games to see how it turns out for him, but fair play for a fine performance yesterday.
  2. It's quite simple to go for a visa as you just present yourself to an embassy or Consul with your filled in application with your passport, lots nowadays do it online, the United States for example who have the strictest immigration operates an ESTA type visitor visa which you complete online for a fee of $14. There is no visa requirement for France or any EU country if you are a citizen of an EU country. Believe me unless you have a criminal record there is no hindrance for anyone in this world to travel to other countries, the only and probably main reason that people have difficulty is the cost of the airfare.
  3. And Tokely repeatedly rabbiting on about Rangers 'rotation' tactics before and during the game to give the impression he knew what he was talking about.
  4. Well impressed with the young Rangers lads, we had a poor game but that doesn't take away of how well they played, sadly as usual only a couple will make it through to the first team, our Tom Walsh is testament to that having started with Rangers at a young age. What about that fuckin referee, another one who grudges coming up the A9 in winter, that sending off was the worst decision I've seen in years and then a perfectly good goal is judged offside, absolutely fuckin shocking, imagine if that decisions had been against the Rangers????????????????
  5. Now talk of Bojo cancelling the BBC Licence fee by 2027 and changing it to subscription which could lead to many local BBC radio stations closing, hopefully that will put an end to that sniggering scunner Graham Norton.
  6. I've traveled through work to most places and yes Visa's are time consuming, Libya eg was a trip to London an overnight stay and a queue first thing in the morning at the embassy and then no guarantee of an issue that day. I've never found it to be too expensive, the most I paid for a Visa was $90 USD cash at the Mexican London embassy, of course travel and accommodation is extra, most are reasonably priced but always time constrictive, Singapore insisted on six months max and then a trip across the causeway to Malaysia for a few hours and then renewal, for most countries you have to keep a close eye on your expiry date otherwise it is a major problem at the airport on departure and can be costly depending on the country.
  7. So here we have a committed unionist living in england who is completely out of touch of what is happening in Scotland predicting Independence. His timescale though is way out of whack as what he predicts will happen sooner. Alba an-asgaidth.
  8. Today just under just 6498 Scottish conservative party members voted to have a new leader. The SNP have over 126,000 members. Say's it all really.
  9. It looks like their first team has lost the premier to Celtic so all eyes will be on this game to bring home some silverware, however small.
  10. Now that Malky has gone I see there is now a lone voice espousing on the the dying embers of unionism in Scotland.
  11. Carlaw the used car salesman who managed two dealerships that went bust.
  12. Fact is that an anti independent movement as an organisation does not exist in Scotland. There are pockets of 20 or so Unionists attending AUOB marches who scream obscenities as we pass in our thousands, comical and pathetic. Meanwhile the pro Independence movement is big, the very wealthy pro Independence and hugely supported SNP are by far the largest sitting party in Scotland and the 3rd largest in the UK, the AUOB movement goes from strength to strength with their marches and I'm sure they will be evident in their many thousands when the Climate conference rolls into Glasgow in November. The best thing to happen to the Independence movement is Brexit and a Scottish Hating Boris. A Free and Independent Scotland is Inevitable.
  13. Along with some books I gave them some programmes a couple of weeks back, enjoy.
  14. I've now read that they are Jamaican nationals and as such have no legal right to stay, the UK gov deports foreign nationals with criminal records such as Eastern Europeans on a daily basis, the same would apply to a UK subject committing a crime overseas. I have also read that one of them has been in the UK since he was five years old, now that decision should be reviewed fair enough, but it questions why his parents did not apply for UK citizenship given that Jamaica being a former colony would be viewed favourably by the Home Office.
  15. There's been a lot of dissent over travel distances involved should they gain promotion, Annan would be a 600 mile round trip, I've heard the support are split but I suppose the final decision would lie with the board and finances would play a big part.
  16. That'll be an interesting tie, both of them keen to make the move to senior in Div2, Brora are running away with the HL but I doubt if they'll be interested in making the move to senior.
  17. Back in the early eighties Jack Ups with max 300 feet legs were drilling comfortably with an air gap of 50 feet hull to sea level off Blackpool and Morecombe bay. Crew changes by chopper were out of Blackpool.
  18. I thought that at it's deepest it's 175 Mtrs off Galloway, Jack Ups were used regularly in the Irish Sea.
  19. How can they be classed as foreigners if they are British subjects ??? surely that's totally illegal??
  20. So much for the Banff and Cruden Bay Church of Scotland minister's great grandaughter.
  21. And she's not alone, come our Independence there are many of these who will find themselves unwanted in Scotland and abandoned by the english media because of their Scottish accents.
  22. Never keen on visits to any city based stadium, parking is always an issue and the pubs nearer the ground are always populated with home fans with away fans not welcome, we haven't got a great record against Hibs but this will be a tough game and I feel we have a good chance of winning this game however given that we beat the team above them on saturday.
