  1. I know some on here have no time for CTO but there are posts on there at times which do say the right things, and Chatterman has come up with an interesting thread entitled "Good Times" which reminded me of where we were back in our early days filled with hope and enthusiasm, after all this noise around Admin I'm sure we will get back to winning ways. Have a look at "Good Times"
  2. Just stating facts. To have an average 450 attendance in a city of 214,000 is a tad underwhelming.
  3. How many years do you need to grow a fan base? Your club is just under 100 years old given you were formed in 1922. With that I reckon you will match our home average in 2222.
  4. Them days are long gone in the North Sea. Overseas is where the money is now.
  5. And Dumbarton got far less publicity than we did, For us it seemed at the time the print and TV media plus fans of some clubs were ecstatic over our woes and were anticipating liquidation.
  6. Face it, the Braggert moves into the White House soon. Who really cares what the Democratic papers come up with, it changes nothing. Fact is the election was never, '"too close to call" as he won all seven swing states.
  7. Buzfeed, Huffposts owner are absolutely anti Trump, a stance that Jonah Peretti made quite clear pre election that they would not accept and run Trump ads. The article is a real non story as we all know that Trump is a boastful fool so what purpose did the article serve other than Huffpost editorial staff are bad losers. Huffpost is in a pile debt right now and lay offs are ongoing.
  8. As I recall before the last league game he was more enthusiastic over a Popeyes opening close to the Cove stadium.
  9. The city is in a real frenzy over this Scottish C.up game against Aberdeens third team. Given the hordes that will be attending parking has become a real issue.
  10. Almost the start of every a BBC Scotland news programme will be a put down of a Scottish Government/SNP proposal or bill, that style has been a standard for years so could we really expect them to report otherwise. The licence fees are paid to the government of the day which are then passed to the BBC, with the labour party in government is it really a surprise that the BBC show the labour party preference.
  11. I haven't a clue what Souter the bus magnate is trying to sell religion wise, and I'm sure that I'm not alone with that along with the general Scottish public, because like the general Scottish public nowadays I am non religious, it is obvious to me that to be aware of this evangelical hard sell you must be involved in religion. The greater American influential danger that has been with us since 1945 and has grown massively since then is the hold the US military has over our government, the amount of US military hardware on our doorstep is frightening which only serves to present us working in hand in hand with the US military which will only bring retaliation.
  12. Maybe if you had read it first it might have convinced you to don a darksuit and tie with a white shirt and go knocking on peoples doors.
  13. A huge slap in the face for the London based Labour party and its Scottish Branch.
  14. We've had the Mormons in the UK since 1837. And we've all experienced young American missionary Mormon door knockers. Even with all the time since they came there is only around 26,000 Mormons in Scotland as against say almost 700,000 Catholics. So if it hasn't worked for the Mormons I'm not too worried about other American Evangelical outfits.
  15. Blasphemy with all its connotations belongs in the 19th century. We no longer burn witches or hang young men for the crime of blasphemy. So why would we even consider turning the clock back 200/300 years to satisfy a religious sect.
