  1. Good crowd at Thorn v Glenvale, especially since Burgh were at home to Renfrew. About 150 there and 250 or so at The Burgh.
  2. Hannah Park is a real bogey ground for Burgh
  3. Mid table mediocrity for me but my missed week is still bugging me!! But always good to have a run in the Cup Arthurlie 1 v Auchinleck Talbot 2 Gartcairn 1 v Hurlford United 1 Maybole Juniors 2 v St. Roch's 0 Larkhall Thistle 2 v Cumbernauld United 2 West Park United 1 v Lanark United 3 BSC Glasgow 3 v Giffnock 1
  4. Park must have been sold to get this going. Potentially huge news and genuinely well done to those at the club who’ve invested so much in this.
  5. Never thought I’d se a crowd like that at Keanie park ever again. The quarter of the Scottish v Cumnock in 2000 had just over 3,000 at it, I’d say that crowd smashed it, albeit with hunners of weans. Burgh score and do very little else in the game and Arthurlie were very worthy winners and I shall be rooting for them in the final. A good night for the Juniors.
  6. Kirkintilloch Rob Roy 1 v Cumnock Juniors 3 Troon 1 v Glenafton Athletic 1 Whitletts Victoria 1 v Shotts Bon Accord 3 Glasgow Perthshire 1 v Kilsyth Rangers 3 Bellshill Athletic 2 v Threave Rovers 2 Glenvale 5 v Saltcoats Victoria 0
  7. Interesting. Heard from a former Pollok committee man that the McCann brothers don’t like him.
  8. As a former Elm Drive resident, I have to concur with these sentiments.
  9. Just to add, Burgh's Cup form has generally been good this year, knocking out St Cadocs in the Scottish and winning away to Musselburgh Athletic in the SOS Cup. Although the first leg at Dunterlie will be their first away tie in the Scottish this season.
  10. Caledonian Locomotives FC likes this post.
  11. Seen some epic Burgh wins at Dunterlie - Davie Brolly Hat-trick in the West in 1997 when the division below Arthurlie to win 3-0 and that night in 2002 when we score 2 in the last 2 mins to relegate Arthurlie and make us two wins from the league title. Seen some utter hidings as well including an 8-0 a few months after said 2-1 in the League Cup sectional "group of death", although we went on to have a decent season. this will depend on what Burgh team turns up I reckon, but crucially Burgh are scoring goals again. I predict the two legs to be high scoring affairs and going to penalties to decide it, but to go through, I think Burgh will have to avoid defeat in the first leg. Talbot v Darvel? I believe that heritage can carry a lot of weight in football. No science behind it, but somethings are just in the DNA of a club and for Talbot, it's the Scottish. I see a comfortable win for them over Darvel in both legs and to go on and win it.
  12. Beith Juniors 2 v 1 Benburb Hurlford United 0 v 2 St. Cadoc's Thorniewood United 1 v 1 Blantyre Victoria Cumbernauld United 3 v 0 Muirkirk Juniors Glasgow United 1 v 3 Dalry Thistle Giffnock 3 v 0 Easterhouse
  13. You guys with 4 games and a competitively light schedule , albeit with a couple of tough games (away to St Rochs and home to SBA), must think if you win this 4 you’ve a great chance of going up. I reckon 57 points will get a team up here.
