  1. Honestly the only thing of note that's happened so far is the clapping for Vaughan in the 10th minute.
  2. I never said I agreed or disagreed with the approach the club are taking, just that I understand what he was saying about it helping us bring in more youngsters. But really, unless one of us wins big on the Euromillions then to an extent we're always going to bringing through players that end up benefiting other clubs.
  3. Thought that was a pretty decent interview with McGlynn. Get what he's saying about how being seen as a club who's happy to let players move on will make us a pretty attractive team for youngsters to come to. Just a worry that we might end being seen as soft touches to other clubs if we're happily letting our players leave without putting up much of a fight. Can only imagine the reaction of TXRover when he hears the bit about Musonda being played as a defensive mid given how much he kept mentioning it pre-season.
  4. Yeah, I'm not overly worried about how Tait will play for us. If it had been a pre-contract scenario then that's a different matter. With that you could understand a player not going into 50-50s or giving their all as they know a injury means the deal can be called off. But his deal is all done, so if anything there's an incentive there for him to be a standout with us till Jan to give him a chance at getting a chance in their first team after Jan.
  5. Don’t think it’s helped with this coming right at the back of the Vaughan news. Don’t think anybody would have been happy regardless, but if Vaughan wasn’t injured then selling Tait wouldn’t feel as much like someone kicking you when you’re already down.
  6. We managed that too though. Pick a way to f**k things up and we've probably managed it. Well apart from falling for a scam like Hamilton did, although we might just be building up to that.
  7. That's a fair point. Me saying the communications have been piss poor is a bit harsh really, but it does seem apparent that they're a bit short staffed and struggling to keep everything updated and getting communications out early.
  8. The club's communications over the last few months have been piss poor so not a surprise they've said nothing about Tait.
  9. We'd have the only bidding war where the price goes down with each bid. The way we're going we'd be looking to sell for the lowest unique bid.
  10. It's on the normal Raith.tv website. There's a option to access the Video Lounge from it when you log in.
  11. Really hoping this is like the Hendry injury in our last season in L1 where the news broke on here first, seemed like he was going to be out for months and then it turned out it wasn't as bad as feared and he was back training 6 weeks or so later. Anything other than another ACL injury for the lad.
  12. You'd think the Match Commander is the one who'd be under a bit of scrutiny. If no CCTV and lights in the stand was such a big safety risk for the crowd then why did they let the game start in the first place? Surely if it's such a big risk you don't just go "f**k it, start the game and fingers crossed they'll all come back on shortly". Also, you'd think the Match Commander is in contact with the police outside the crowd? Cause they seemed to be caught completely unaware when everybody started leaving.
  13. Interview with John Sim said he expected there would be an announcement about it by either the middle or end of next week.
  14. Yeah, McGlynn talking about him not being able to train at all and having to go for scans all fills me with dread. Although just watching any game Vaughan plays in these days has at least one spot of me thinking "oh no" when he goes in for a 50-50 or goes down under a challenge.
  15. I hope the idea of Fotheringham playing deeper that report mentions isn’t meaning playing him in a DM role. Based off Saturday Fotheringham didn’t have much pace and even less strength, could see him getting utterly bullied if we tried playing him in a deeper midfield role.
  16. I think it was a bit of cockiness from Varian to try and take it round the keeper instead of just having the shot earlier. In hindsight it was the wrong choice, but much like McGlynn’s subs, at the time and with how the game was going at that point I can understand it. After he missed it somebody behind me made a comment about how if we’d been drawing and he’d done that he’d be getting pelters but you can get away with trying things like that at 4-1. Famous last words.
  17. Notice on the Domestic Pass that it mentions the video lounge with the highlights and interviews. So does that mean all the videos are going behind a paywall then? Sure they originally said season ticket holders were only getting one month free of the video lounge/domestic pass, so nice to see that they’ve upped it to having it free till Christmas.
  18. From the RaithTV commentary it seems that Livi did ask the RaithTV guys for help as their setup wasn’t ready. But they’d left it too late in the day for us to be able to get a stream up.
  19. I was a bit unsure about the top when I watched the video this morning but it's already growing on me so got it ordered for delivery. I only ever wear my tops either at the games or on holiday, so at least I'll get a chance to actually wear this one. Both of last season's tops are still hanging up with the tags attached, I'll finally have an excuse to wear one of them for the game tomorrow.
  20. Noticed I got another email about my season ticket today, that this time included an copy of my season ticket barcode. So I’m assuming they’re hoping to get fans back in for the friendlies and we’ll be using the emailed barcode if the season ticket cards haven’t been sent out.
  21. McGlynn did say “Hopefully it just proves to be a bit of a niggle” which sounds promising. But then you remember it’s the Rovers, so it never proves to just be a niggle. Instead it ends up being some random, fluke injury that keeps the player out for months.
  22. Even though I’ve known there was pretty much no chance of him staying, I’ve still been checking the Rovers Twitter account every couple of hours each day in the vague hope that he might have signed on for another year. Absolutely gutting for it to finally be official that he’s away. Hopefully circumstances allow him to show up as the half time guest at some point this season so he can get the send off he deserves.
  23. MacDonald signs for Hamilton and looks like he's staying PT from their statement. "The club understands the importance of Kieran’s career out with football and we are pleased to reach an agreement that will allow him to continue in this career."
  24. I'm assuming they've noticed something is wrong, I just keep getting a message saying "The portal will be available again shortly" Thought I'd locked myself out but that's been longer than 15 minutes now.
  25. Could probably add to that list the money people paid out for a ticket and bus to the final that never happened. I don't think that's ever been refunded has it? Or did that go to the SPFL? I mean if they were to ask "Do you want a refund, or just leave it as a donation to the club?" I'd be happy to leave it, like I guess most of us did with the potential refund of the season tickets in 2019/20.
