  1. Saw this on twitter and thought it was an interesting look at how our prize money was made up this year. The whole thread is on twitter if anyone wants to see the others
  2. I was going to say don't even joke about that but then it dawned on me he will be.
  3. Cognitive capital had appointed a new director last year but just forgot to mention it to anyone, until there was 2 threats of strike off and now here we are.
  4. I've got no idea what we charged Rangers B or what we'll be charging Broomhill for the pitch but the only real outcome is we'll see is an absolutely woeful pitch again.
  5. Were we knocked out in "record breaking" fashion though?
  6. I think I can only echo the above in terms of having a head of talent identification seems odd when we're struggling financially. However if it works and we uncover a whole squad of FM style regens that fire us into the champions league then it'll be worth it. Meanwhile back in reality... Of the confirmed departures I'm disappointed to see McNiff go. I had a bit of a fear he'd be woefully exposed at left back but he's been reliable in the most part and never really looked out of place there. Russell McLean, the man we based our whole January window around getting punted in May maybe suggests a scout isn't the worst idea in the world. Maybe with a full preseason etc he'll look good elsewhere but I can't say I'm sad about his departure. Guaranteed will score against us if he ends up at another league 2 team however. McKee was frustrating as anything as you knew there was a player in there but just never really saw it unfortunately. Orsi I'd like to keep but at the same time his actual output is ridiculously low in terms of goals or assists. If he stays I'll be happy, if we replace him with someone who can grab a few goals then fine. Buchanan is the one we need to try and keep. It's as simple as that I think. I don't know if he can get more money elsewhere or if another team closer to where he lives is looking at him or something like that but we need to try and hold on to him. I genuinely didn't think I'd write that after last year but here we are.
  7. Possibly has been things said but it doesn't seem to have been addressed anywhere from the club. On another related point when looking to see if there was anything on the website I found this: From an article titled "“THE PROSPECT OF A BRIGHT NEW FUTURE" - Link If this is the bright future I'm absolutely dreading the dark days
  8. I feel like you know the answer to this
  9. The way I've read that I'm picturing some sort of Pablo Escobar figure turning up in Scottish football
  10. Carswell also leaving which again seems to have been coming.
  11. Ally Love announcing he's away, it just never really worked for him as I don't think we ever really worked out how to actually use him. Seemed to drift in and out the team and never in any set position. He seemed at his best coming off the bench and getting in folks faces (literally a lot of the time) and playing off a striker which we never tended to use as a tactic in my opinion. A strangely angry man as well giving us the whole Lowry affair and managing to nearly get sent off after scoring a goal against Forfar.
  12. Forgetting his own bizarre "only 20 people thought we'd get a result and they're in that dressing room" when we played Stirling away comment there.
  13. Proper cult stuff that. Can't boo him because he got us close to promotion... from a division he got us relegated into.
  14. I think after the season we've had and particularly how it's just ended that maybe we don't go after other teams for not being able to back it up
  15. Good to see we kept continuity from last season by refusing to go for it in the second leg
  16. Keep it tight to begin with then nick 7 in the second half
  17. Good of him to mention how long he's been a fan. I was going to consider this complete nonsense but since he mentioned that I've now changed my mind completely
  18. I think it's worse than that, I think Farrell actually sees him as a good player
  19. It's ok I'm sure there will be statement about new cones or bibs for training similar to last year
  20. I think all the above points are spot on, I listened to the interview last night and my first thought was his comments about players freezing and not playing well on the night are all well and good. However... He's not learned from some absolute pumpings in big games and this is a squad that he assembled in the large majority and has offered deals to most of for next year. If the players froze or weren't good enough then that sits with him. We were awful last night, I gave up after 80 minutes, not because I thought i thought we could anything remotely positive but to see how bad it could get. Eventually even the self-loathing became too much
  21. Wish I hadn't seen anything to be honest. It was just giving me PTSD flashbacks to the covid era that was all.
