  1. Nah I made my position clear about this weeks ago. Clubs got it wrong, I realise its difficult to accept for many.
  2. Haven't read anything about JRS which states it wouldnt be.
  3. Judge if continuing to furlough the players would come at any cost to the club on a monthly basis would have been a reasonable approach.
  4. The right thing to do was to keep them on for another month at least. End of.

  7. Chairmen had done an "interview" in the daily mail, explains playing behind closed.doors is not viable. Does not explain, however, why the guys could not have been kept on/furloughed for another month. Here's the link https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8350061/Dunfermline-chairman-Ross-McArthur-says-axe-17-players.html
  8. You'd be liable to pay up contracts with a year left on them. For the guys who's contract is up at the end of may, theres nothing to pay up.
  9. Best not to post when you've had a few cause that is complete word salad fella.
  10. Aye its crap for them. Said weeks ago we should be looking to support guys however we can weeks ago no matter our plans for them next season. Just pointing out that "releasing" all out of contract players does not indicate financial brink. We did it in 2015 as well.
  11. We're in talks to invoke an extension clause on one of our players, one of the 17 released turned down a new deal. We've released every player out of contract before, albeit in different circumstances. Might be on the brink right enough but I'd have expected us to release that many players regardless.
  12. Wont mention who but hearing at least 1 player was offered a new deal but turned it down. Maybe not as black and white (pardon the pun) as it appears.
  13. Ryan Dow - 8/10. Unplayable at this level on his day, great decision to give him another crack at a higher level. Tormented many a full back and scored plenty of goals. Aaron Comrie- 7/10. A solid 7/10 every week for him, big improvement on Williamson from season 18/19. Kyle Turner - 6/10. Turner only just gets a 6 from me, i've been underwhelmed by him but had very high expectations of him. Games pass him by far too often. Has definitely had his moments though. Gabby McGill - 4/10. Still young but haven't seen anything from him to suggest he'll make it at this level. Sorry Gabby. Kevin Nisbet - 10/10. What a man. Not a lot more you can say. Euan Murray - 6/10. Should be higher but hasn't played enough. Like what I see from him though. Paul Paton - 7/10. Captain. Leader. Legend. Josh Edwards - 4/10. Started off well but needs to buck up his ideas. Loans: OFW, Dom Thomas, Greg Kiltie and Jonathan Afolabi all get pass marks. Didn't see enough of Ethan Ross and Anthony Macdonald to get a fair assesment. Didn't see any of Dylan Duncan. Cochrane and Coley were both poor.
  14. Kiltie is (they're in talks about an extension), Thomas has another year.
  15. Still got a year left on his deal at Killie so would have to work something out there but massively behind it.
  16. I thought it was a global pandemic which won you the title not 2 Rakesh Bingham assists
