  1. I love going to East End and singing Motherwell songs over and over and over again. Bring back the cage.
  2. was the game after killie, was like night and day. for what it's worth i'd punt him as well, will be on high wages and i question his fight. macca's mate. didn't work.
  3. Not a lot but to criticise his passig which has been his only saving grace, is foolish. Not every (hardly any) pass has led to a goal but come off it, he's done pretty well considering he's trying to pass it to players hiding behind their markers. He bossed the Killie game at Rugby park, hardly misplaced a pass all game.
  4. The fact that an injured Paul Gallagher was taking training for keepers speaks volumes about the man.
  5. Coming off the bench in the semi, his one appearance Not qualified, IMO
  6. John's father in law. Brian was already part time, gall took training often in the latter part of the season. f**k knows how anyone who benched for Hamilton a handful of times is qualified to coach other goalkeepers.
  7. Jesus, surprised JJ hasn't walked when it's clear how much a hold the board has over the decisions. Both Potter's getting deals because of daddy-in-law, pretty sickening
  8. Intresting to see what type of player replaces McDougall and Graham. As I've touched upon before, I hear the boy Whittle is highly rated. That leaves him, Jojo super Jo and Willis for the wide players. With Hardie gone(was about greeting when I hear y the wy) maybe leaves room for another offensive type player in the midfield. Two names that popped into my noggin were Graem Owens, seeeing as Air-duh-ray didn't get promoted and JJ has managed him before, and the laddie Novikovas at Hearts as he isn't seeing much game time he might fancy a move. f**k knows if he is out of contract, don't think he is though so a loan deal could be possible. Good to see McCann go.
  9. Martin Hardie might not be able to score from The Jet Garage up in Perth though
  10. Look pal, If I've had this discussion once I've had it a million times. I'm as ambitious as any other fan of a provincial club in this country as any. I'm not prepared to settle for the first division, I want the top tier and I want to be thriving in it. Your point about Big Yorkie and the board is an intresting one. Especially when you take into consideration that the team we put together was budgeted on having an average attendance of 6,500 although when we were chasing the dream big time circa 04 we were only getting crowds of around 5,500. As for the point of the boys on here settling for the first, I'm sure it's more of a case of making the best out of a bad situation. We'll be back though, might not be for a while but we will be. It's not a case of a club like ours deserves to play in the top tier or anything like that, it's just a fact.
  11. Yeah that maybe true. But at least we are original. East End Park will never be a Tesco.
  12. The spell that saw us rlegated, above all, last season was the ned of spetember through to January, Graham was one player whodidn't hide every game.
  13. Thomson has a bit of dig, which a lot of Dunfermline fans mistake for ability, but hey sometimes you need a bit of that. I'd keep him. Word going round my parts is that the laddie Whittle is a step above anything in the current first team (not hard, like being father of the year out of benoit, fritzel and gerry mccann, etc) Wouldn't surpise me if he became a starting player relatively quickly
  14. Have to say this thread strikes me as being pointless. 7We have no clue what market we'll be looking in next season, remember that this squad was put together on a budget were the board had budgeted for an avergae of 6-7000 this season JJ and his hoofball will be the least of our troubles next season. Dark times ahead gentleman, dark times
  15. oh we hate scousers and we hate scousers
