    Nah not 2019, Crawford stole a march on everyone and we'd signed 6 or 7 by this point and our start to the league campaign was poor.

    Plenty of games to sink your teeth into before the viaplay cup starts, anyway. About as game heavy as I can remember in recent years.

    Peter Grant tried him in a 3 against jobbers in the league cup group stage and it worked well, disaster in the championship. His goals to minutes ratio last season was really impressive, probably highest in the league (I've not checked)

    Mckee always struck me as a really tidy player, at 30 that's a good signing.

    Wullie Gibson would have fetched a decent fee if it hadn't been the January leading up to his contract being up. Could have made money on Cardle if we'd sold him in the Summer of 2012 as well, I remember Hibs being quite heavily linked with him.

    Probably stick some sort of friendly in on that Saturday, every chance it's inter-squad or behind closed doors. Failing that, Hibs or Hearts at home or something.

    I'd pay zero attention to what the Grangemouth rabble have to say. Had to put up with it all last season and the term 'deluded' doesn't even begin to cover it.

    The gaffer on his hols on the same boat trip as Hammy and Robert Snodgrass. I'd expect Snodgrass to be signed up next week.

    We were linked with him for about 4 transfer windows on the bounce for a time I'm sure.

    Anybody from Thistle's release list you'd take? Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign Mullen.
