  1. Goes against the grain but would wish the Broch all the best tonight, if it works out well the team could book into a fancy hotel on the way home after all it is much further than Govan to Dundee.
  2. We always seem to make it hard for ourselves with the wind behind & a man up, if we continued like we played in the 1st half we could have made it much easier on ourselves.
  3. Max Barry came via Buckie Thistle but agree he looks good. Dylan Forrest is settling in well & our whole midfield seem to work well together. We changed out 6 players on Saturday but have a squad this season that makes that possible. Have coped well with having Rory running down a bit & Shanks out for 3 monthes
  4. Not too surprized that we were able to field about 6 or 7 players that maybe have not been 1st choices all the time. have built a strong squad this season. The ref did not have control at times and could have had to give himself a red card for a stamp on Peter Pawlett. Our midfield are really looking good now and were closing down quicker yesterday and if we had a true striker available would be scoring more. Deserved our win and will see who we get next on Tuescday
  5. Good to get a better view of our goals, some hit from Max Barry
  6. Have not noticed has there ever been a fee/compensation agreed for that well known international superstar, might be best to get paid before the builders bill arrives at Ibrox
  7. Well it worth going back to the capital for 2nds, was down early so got parked at the ground so was able to pass the time wayching a game on the outside astro. Lovely weather although like our own mainstand was in full shade. It certainly did not seem quite so bad in daylight. Still a long way from the action. Access to the toilets involve a bit of a trek as does a trip to the food stand. Was handier being able to get into the ground from the car park although some folk went up to the other end so had to back track. All in all would say City have tried to improve the matchday expieriance but still have some way to go. As for the game, great 1st half with some good goals, let City have quite a bit of the ball 2nd half but did not really trouble our keeper.
  8. Agree we will need to keep up our good work to get the points from this, after Andy McCarthy being taken out last week will have change things around a bit. Although i go to every game had to work hard to convince myself to buy a ticket as Meadowbank is such a horrible place to try and watch fitba.
  9. Knew that would happen, ridiculous that a club with a pool of players like rangers need to muck about a Highland League club because of call ups from a B-Team. Hope the date that suits them clashes with a Aberdeenshire Cup Tie & the Broch say no thanks
  10. Thought if anyone was going to win it, it was us, Our keeper did not have a save to make whereas we had one that run along the line & another that came off the inside of the post. The Edinburgh ref kept his record going of not being in charge of a Spartans loss i seven games ,wonder if he joins them for training at Ainslie.
  11. As usual great package our camera is at the other side so have enjoyed watching our goal from all angles Met a Stranraer supporter that said even home games meant a 300mile round trip from Durham, as someone that does similar going to all games could appreiate the efffort to follow the team. Shake my head when you hear fans in the central belt moaning about having to travel an hour to away games. There were a few other away fans on saturday so well done to those who came up.
  12. It will be a real treat to you compared with Meadowbank, a decent club for a pint before the game, plenty free parking for those taking the car, a good pie shop in the ground & even from the one stand play can be seen without 20/20 vision the only drawback is they charge league 1 prices to get in. Enjoy your away day compared to Meadowbank the only way is up.
  13. Aye it was not bonny last week but need to get wins how ever they come about. Too many draws at home last year so need to avoid that again.
